um no it has less options. The gameplay in Halo is just as good as any shooter even Call of Duty 4, The beta is awesome, but id take Halo over it still.
The only area that Call of Duty 4 will win is graphics. Halo 3 will still be king of console shooters.
And it will still be king of most hated shooter out there at the same time.

I've loved all the CoD games except for 3 because it wasn't on PC and therefore not worth purchasing. I still play CoD:UO now. I hope that 4 can revitalize the series. Whether it will be better and will be accepted as being superior will have to be determined. THe one eyed lemmings who only own a 360 will probably never give up the fact that Halo is the end all.
It's going to be an amazing game, but it's quite idiotic to think Lemmings have a problem with it..you know, seeing as how it's..ON THE 360 AS WELL?! Meanwhile you get COD 4 and what else? Nothing! We have COD 4 and Halo 3, no worries.

cod4 looks good....but if you look at an object closely it has very poor texturing, halo 3 doesnt look good to the eyes but awesome texturing is there...................cod4 mutliplayer will be better tho just coz of fun, graphically and campaign wise + feature wise halo 3>>>>cod4

agreed. It got so repetative after a while, and the level cap didn't help either. I am just going to say right now that this is not a bash, I liked the game, I just can't see it being fun for more than a month, unless the full version proves otherwise. Thank god Halo 3 has so much variety otherwise I would have probably stopped playing it already.

Wait you say COD4 will have better gameplay yet you didn't play HAlo 3? Why do people say things with no merit.
The beta was a lot of fun just with the three maps, with more maps and unlockables the full game is gonna be great (not to mention an awesome single player). I just don't like the MP as much as Halo's.

CoD4 looks sweet. Personally though, I'm not sure whether I'll buy it, and I bought Halo 3 day one. You can say all you want about all the things Call of Duty will do better than Halo 3, but not everyone is going to agree with you. Plenty of people play Halo for the story (no, seriously), and plenty play for the feel of the weapons/vehicles, and even for the basic gameplay itself. Halo 3 is a rock solid title; just because it's insanely popular doesn't mean it's not worthy of at least some of the hype.
Yeah, I anticipate having more fun with COD4. I played the beta and found it to be more interactive. Halo is a good alternative shooter for me but COD4 is where its at.
