COD Black Ops. Better for the hardcore on ps3?

i just read that this is confirmed for 360 only...

- (Xbox 360 only) You can bring a 2nd, Gold Xbox LIVE account online!

- (Xbox 360 only) Both players with full online accounts can rank-up while playing split-screen

so great... this will promote noobs to boost for credits.. ugh ill be gettin it for ps3 no doubt, even if i have to wait a month longer for new maps...

black ops looks awesome and wager matches make the game competative, rewarding, and fun... i just hope u can ONLY play wager matches with either JUST friends or JUST strangers... otherwise noobs will more than likley boost up and ruin the game for the hardcore gamers...

I don't get your logic AT ALL.

If people boost their rank it wouldn't really bother me. You can pretty much dominate with any gun on CoD games aside from the trench gun in WaW

haha, W@W had a very simple system, if you wanted to dominate entirely use the no-skill-MP40, if you didnt want to cheat, then use any other weapon but the trench and if you wanted to suck, use the trench :P

I didn't know that extra features are a bad thing now. I'm sure they would have the same feature if PSN would allow more than 1 user to log in at the same time like Live does but it doesn't.

more doesn't = better... fact is psn doesn't allow more than 1 user to log in at the same time which is a good thing to prevent cheaters. thats my point. im sure regardless their will be cheaters/boosters/and hackers but since xbox 360 has a bigger fan base and treyarch is giving exclusive stuff to the 360 first im gonna buy cod on ps3 since its less provoking to cheat than it will be on the 360... i hate cheater

yea there will definetely be boosters on the 360 version, i dont play the 360 version no more, too much hackers with modded controllers, and hacked lobbies.

so you really think Treyarch doesn't consider these things?

even if it were allowed, you could boost with a friend in wager matches anyways. split-screen or not. so whatever point you were trying to establish.

it's moot.

but welcome to COD. where people stand in secluded parts of the maps and boost with tactical insertions.

I'm pretty sure hardcore is reserved for the PC.

I'm pretty sure splitscreeners won't be allowed in free for all matches, and they'll be on the same team I'm sure

I think people are overreacting to this, the PS3 version could still get a very easy patch for supporting 2 accounts on one system while its not even a big issue. you can play can't you?

A good portion my gaming time is with friends over. I've had my fill of CoD for the gen, but a feature like that would tempt me to buy if it were on my console.

It's simple to find them, actually. Just point in their general direction and the Aim Assist will snap right on 'em :lol:

CoD 2 was more competetive in its day, and didnt have imbalances, plus it still has a dedicated community. After cod 3 the game became even more arcadey than it already was.
