COD Black Ops will be ragarded as the best FPS EVER!!!

No more :cry: Treyarch has fixed everything that everyone has ever complained about in FPS games. No more cheap driving to prone tactics. This is not going to work now. Prone will have a new purpose now and not for an exploit cheap tactic.

No more stacking kill streaks either.

No more cheap camping well you can still I guess but the game is designed now to promote against it.

COD Black ops will have to most awesome and insane customizations ever in a FPS game from guns to gadgets to cosmetic looks for your player it will all be top notch and better then anything we have seen.

COD Black Ops takes place in one of the most bad ass time settings in history the COLD WAR from the 60's up until close to present day.

COD Black Ops is going to be the most fleshed out online game ever made and it will be the most balanced in doing so,

COD Black Ops is going to OWN YOUR SOUL and will be regarded as the finest online game ever made for years to come. And games will only copy COD Black Ops but COD Black Ops will always be known as legendary and the game that turned the page on FPS online games.

There is ALWAYS something to complain about. Always. I want Black Ops, and expect it to be a fantastic game, but don't set your expectations so high that no game could possibly reach it.Razor-Lazor

Games will top it over the next few years but Black Ops will be the game we look back on and say Black Ops was the game that turned the page on online FPS games and made balancing issues will great player customizations the standard to build off of. well as far as i have seen it is pretty much the same as MW2 and that was nowhere near the best FPS of all time so.... no.

EDIT: and it is another military shooter of which there are hundreds, the best have to do something unique IMO.

We need to wait and see. Who would have thought MW2's multiplayer to be so buggy at launch? Remember that javelin glitch and the crappy SP story? Anyway I hope it is a good game, the only thing that bothers me is that the MP from the videos it looks that the game almost plays itself: you use the auto-aim, spray five bullets and you got yourself a frag.

Prone is a cheap tactic? Yeah, if you have tunnel vision and somehow lack the motor skills to aim downward. In games like BF2 and RO, prone is a must. Dolphin diving is lame, though.

Why is every COD that comes out supposed to be the best and most balanced COD ever? Why are we hyping games on the basis that they'll fix things that suck, rather than the content in the games?

Every FPS games since the first one ever is basicly a rehash. They all have guns they all shoot so it's all rehash.

COD games as a whole have the players and the sales numbers to proove it is the best. Black Ops is going to take things to the next level.

Still not convinced yet. MW2 left a bad taste in my mouth and it'll take a lot for BO to impress me...

For people who've never played an FPS in their life, probably. Doubt it'll be better then Half Life, Stalker, Deus Ex, Halo, Crysis, ect.

MW2 was terrible. Its one of the few games that i didn't pay for yet still made me feel like I got ripped off.

And already been done by far many games before. Anyways there's games FAR better balanced than Reach or Black Ops such as Counter-Strike Source.

And like someone said before there's barely any customization in Halo Reach. :?

It's obvious he's talking about Forge and Custom games settings in Reach. Which is as at least as impactful (probably more in my opinion) than Black Op's player specific customization.

BlackOps be the best FPS ever. Now, that is something to laugh at. From all I've seen so far it looks just like another generic shooter. There is nothing in the game really that sets it apart from other FPS games. It may be good, but won't be great.
