CoD is bad...

on the xbox live, i bet this game rocks on PC, but on xbox live its not worth it if u want to play people with skills, every level atleast 2 people will have a sinper. and then theres the time when the whole team has snipers, so u are running around trying to find u while they standing still waiting for u. its just as bad as battlefield 1942 Omaha beachadam_1_basic

Which CoD? CoD 2 and 3 were both great on XBL IMO. If you cannot play with the sniper, might I suggest you play on more closed levels that aren't as conducive to sniping, or you get better with the sniper?

i had problems in both, maybe i just have really bad luck, i've even seen sinpers on the smallest lvl of CoD 2

I think the only games that people should use a sniper to camp are in games like Americas Army or other realistic MP games

On vacant its retarded to snipe because its close quarters combat and crash theres no great place to set up and snipe.

touche and in the COD serries camping with a sniper, ur asking for trouble, because spawn points change frequently and next thing you know it you got a guy on your ass. when i played cod2 on my 360, sniping was the thing, or rifle, u need to keep moving and take shots very quickly, if you cant then your better off with a machine gun. and also when in close quaters sniping becomes pretty difficult, seeing if you cant take the guy out with one shot from your rifle you need to pull out your pistol real fast to get the kill.

call of duty is bad because people snipe?

i play cod3 on my 360 over cod2 on my pc because even though my computer is 1400 dollars, it can't keep a good connection. i don't have that problem with my 360.

if you can't deal with sniping, play a different game, or at least a different map. part of a game you can defend against if you're smart is not a weakness.

My only complaint about COD4 would have to be the automatic sniper rifles.

I'll be in a gun battle 2 v 1 and then some noob in the back is hiding and kills me. Then I watch the killcam and see him miss about 3 shots and hit me once in the leg.

I love playing Sniper. And for all the people whining, Snipers are a part of war. What you think people in war are... "No son you can't be a sniper.... that would be cowardly and unfair aganist the Nazi's. Just go out there and radomly die."

I myself like to NOT die which means I'm usually one of the guys with the least amount of deaths even as Rifleman etc... I don't play Halo style and run around like a nut thinking this makes me manly lol

Snipers are an important part of war. And why whine about it? If your'e so bad at playing the game then don't play it cause everything you can do in this game can be countered.

Oh you have a tank, well I have a bazooka or a sticky grenade.

Oh you have a support, well I have a medic with me.

Oh you have a Sniper? Well I can learn your location and flank your ass or have our snipers snipe yours.

It's a huge part of war and it's such a big thing IMO. I love it when there's a sniper out there killing people off and you have to find out where they are hidden. If you can't deal with it then play another game and stop complaining. Snipers aren't easy either... You can't stay in one place too long. You're pretty much dead if people are near you unless you're good. And the shots are slow.

You're probably playing on a server that's on the other side of the world. Look at the "ping" column. Lower=better.........

Are you kidding? CoD4 Beta is without a doubt the best Live experience since Halo 2. Gears was in and out within hours, but this CoD is the sickest game Iv'e ever played.

Infinity Ward just crushed thier competition with this one. I actually have a game that will take Live time away from Master Chief, and that ain't easy for any developer.

P.S. I've never gamed on a PC ever, but I'm about to start with Crysis, so chill out on me Hermits.:)
