From what I've seen, the dark, gritty campaign looks to be incredibly intense. I don't think I'm going to be disappointed at all.

I can imagine dogs will be very annoying for snipers. Since they are always still and would not see it coming. Imagine seeing a dogs face in your scope right next to you :lol:

do the dogs follow you or do you click and dogs will go there from a rondom point?

lol....idk if they follow you or not? I just played the beta last night and was not good enough yet to get 7 kills in a row lol all I know is all of a sudden I heard barking and a dog was jumpin in my face! lol

Each and every CoD game has felt like the last one. The whole series is playing it safe. The only things that has changed is the setting. organic_machine

Yes I have. And i agree. CoD 1 is the best one. Because it had top notch design at the time. The only things CoD 4 have top notch design in is graphics and presentation.

boring as hell for me, in the mp beta too. treyarch listened too much to the fanboys that whined over COD3.. now we have basically new skins and models for COD4 set in WWII with historically innaccurate scopes for nearly all weapons and nearly all the same perks with just a few variations on bonus powers.

do yourself a favor, rent it first.

its not a perk, you get Attack Dogs when you have 7kill streak + you get 3 points for killing each dawg. also dogs stay in the battlefield for quite some time i mean my dog only killed 1 guy and then after a minute they got 2 more i was like wtf they still here :) and nothing is more funny then a sniper who is about to snipe and ur like "oh snapz" and then from behind 2 dogs jump on him :) its even more funnier when the enemy tries to kill the dogs

guess that's why i'm unimpressed with this one. i do love WWII games, but i don't like that it is pretty much identical to COD4 in every way apart from the dogs and setting.

the scopes really annoy the crap out of me too. scopes were for snipers in WWII. people didn't mount them on MP40s.. WWII games should be more close quarters and dirty / gritty.. not a bunch of campers hiding in trains with a scoped MG that was designed to fire from the hip.

if they had at least changed that - taken the scopes out of it and made it less like modern combat - then i'd be more likely to buy. but as is this is too much like MC - to the point where it gets a bit laughable if you're in to the history.

well it aint meant to be super realistic, they obviously added scopes to make multiplayer better,single player likely wont have scopes

my argument is that familiar isn't better. i think WWII shooters are fun because of the ways they are different, not the same as modern combat shooters.

COD in the past has prided themselves on realism.. but it seems clear they're going for a more action oriented approach these days which make me a sad panda.

Yep. That is why I am not a fan of the CoD series. I think, personally, that regenerating health is the worst thing to ever happen to action games.

Im disapointed with cod WaW but it's Treyarch, that's why. They didn't even take out Juggernaut, Matyrdom, last stand etc They were major flaws in cod4. Another thing is that its pretty much cod4.5 they didn't even change the menus and HUD... The only good is that is set in WWII which I love, but I have cod2 on pc for that. I will just wait next year for the next cod by IW, I will just buy Resistance 2 which will be the best shooter this year.Hitman533

scenario 1: change the game in many ways and have people whine about how it's nothing like the last IW version.

scenario 2: leave it alone and have people whine about how it's too much the same.

don't blame Treyarch. they've proven they can make a solid COD game. blame whiners everywhere that confuse the hell out of them because there is no happy outcome.

so tired of people ragging on the devs when the fans are the real problem here. they listen to you, like you ask them to, then when it comes out you say something different.

this isn't directed at your necessarily, but every single person that whines and moans about Treyarch. i feel bad for them - people are making them schizo! there's no way to win. people complained about COD3 so now we have WWII Modern Combat. it's lame. i wish they'd just ignore fans and get back to making solid games.

One of my friends said there were dogs in COD4. When I read WaW would have them, I laughed.

I really, really dont like it. I only got the Beta cause others wanted it, and i regret taking it from someone else who could have enjoyed it.

It plays just like the last. but looks uglyer, and more gritty. The weapons dont interest me at all, and the Japanese accent isn't funny enough.
