Did you unlock the M14 yet? I am salivating for it, after loving the G3A3 so much. Is it s ingle shot, 20 round clip? Thanks.

M14 is level 46 unfortunatly.
PLease dont try and compare the PC MP to console MP.
Anyone who has ever played both patforms knows the PC MP will be a generation ahead of any console MP game.
I am stuck with the 360 version till I can finish rebuilding a new PC.

pc scored same as 360 version lololololol
[QUOTE="sirk1264"][QUOTE="mingo123"][QUOTE="sirk1264"]COD series will always be best on pc. But for people who don't have the money to maximize the experience of COD4 on the pc a console is the next best choice.mingo123
or people who dont like to upgrade every year when games like crysis come out and just enjoy to sit or lay back on da sofa and play instead of playing on a little screen and sitting less then a foot away from pc
Well you can hook up your pc to an HDTV nowadays and they do have wireless mouse's and keyboards. Plus most games support the 360 controller anyways. The upgrading part is subjective. There are people that don't like to upgrade every 6 months or every year and there are people that don't mind it. All depends on what type of person you are.
too much fuss....i just like a console which can run games with no errors, games that are easily patchable (just press A and the game will be patched if the patch is available instead of googling patch and downloading it then installing it or however its done) and yeh like i said no fuss lol + and i dont have HDTV and i dont think you can hook pc to SDTV :P + wireless mouse and controller are bad if you lay down on sofa....

really?
so the 360 version has 32 players online on dedicaded servers and support for user created content?
No real person would care about any of those feature that you just mentioned. So bullet lag, and host advantage is for real people eh?
cod4 barely has bullet lag, in cod4 beta itwas IMPOSSIBLE to tell who the host was unless everyone had red dot connection while 1 guy had green connection so green dude was host....and maps in cod4 are enough for 16 players, maps like crash site and vacant are riot with 12 players, and will be cramped with 16 players...with 32 players on vacant the game will be another Halo 3....meaning you would get killed no matter how skilled you are, you cant survive when theres 3 dudes coming at yo from everyside and thats how 32 player matches will be
Its not about how the game is enough for 18 people. Its about how 360 cant handle that much players. Even gears gets lag/hostadvantage on a 4vs4 match.

I have both the 360 and PC version. There is no contest, the PC version just blows the 360 version out of the water in every category. the only gripe I have with the PC version (this is extremely minor and picky on my part) is that when you highlight a server and click "server info", it does not tell you whether it is a hardcore or non-hardcore server. This is not really a big issue since most of the servers have the title of Hardcore or HC (which stands for Hardcore), but for those servers who do not have HC on their title, sometimes you just have to do a quick join to find out whether it is hardcore or not. This is no real problem since you can just add your favorite servers on your favorites list. The 360 version doesnt even give you the ability to choose any type of server since it is P2P, a huge let down in my opinion. I love the fact that you have such an open ability to join whatever server at your disposal. In the 360 version you can only choose what gametype you want to play and it puts you in a RANDOM game created by some guy, something that sometimes can be very annoying since sometimes a creater decides to quit because he cannot stand losing, you'll never run into this in the PC version thank god!
Now the most important aspect, gameplay... hands down the PC version gives you the potential to play ridiculously good. PC version is just simply much more fast paced. you can heighten your sensitivity of mouse so great, something the 360 version lacks (I maxed out mine on 360 and it still feels slow compared to what you can do on PC). Snipers are alot more effective on PC version because of the dead on aim precision with a mouse. knifing is more effecient as well on the PC version, since the 360 version requires you to press on the left analog button (the same analog stick you use for walking/running etc), this can sometimes cause you to knife when you dont intend to in the heat of battle(not that it happens a lot, but it does happen sometimes during very crucial moments, big letdown). reaction time to everything is just much faster and much more efficient on PC version. One thing I wanna mention before I forget, is the fact that editing your perks is a lot faster on pc version since you have a mouse to move and click on, unlike the 360 version where you need to go up and down a list. Why is this important? anyone who plays COD4 at a serious levels knows how crucial it is to have the right perks and weapons depending on the gametype and map, sometimes you dont have the right saved class/weapon/perk and you must quickly create a new one that will help you be more effecient and deadly on the battle field. this applies to a server you are playing on constantly, or on the 360 version when you are playing with the same group of all people P2P. Remember, there is a time limit before every match starts. On the 360 version sometimes this goes to crap when the Creator leaves forcing you to go back to your lobby and find another game publicly/random game, or sometiems it picks a host with the best connection...this is the annoyance I seem to constantly run into the 360 version. Then again, I stopped playing the 360 version as soon as I bought the PC version because the 360 version to ME, feels like a gimmed watered down version!
Oh I forgot to add, I HATE the fact that the 360 is limited to 16 players max. Trust me this hinders gameplay greatly. I normally dont like the max 32 players on the PC version, but I have found that 24 players is the best amount. This greatly effects tactics and difficulty. 24 players does not feel full and you do not get spammed like some 360 owners on this thread believe. Do you really think people just run and gun halo style? dear god NO! people play extremely tactically in the PC version. 24 players makes it feel more like an actual warzone. It gives you the right amount of snipers, assault footmen, and stealth players. You always have a few guys who pack rockets, and even if they dont, you have enough guys to take down a helo with regular fire power very fast when everyone works as a team. On some maps, even 32 players feels right, but not many in my opinion. 24 players is the perfect optimum number of players for any map (minus shipment, which is a stupid map to begin with, many servers dont even put it on their line up on the PC version).
Graphics with a good rig are obviously wayyy better on PC.
i disagree, i preferred cod4 on the xbox, i just find holding a controller much more natural than using a keyboard and mousePLease dont try and compare the PC MP to console MP.
