COD4 Bettter on PS3?

Well, Well. If this article is true (and thats a IF) then it would appear that COD 4 will be running better on PS3 compared to 360. And if it is true, what say you lemmings. Bu but teh cell!? lol. They say it runs better because of the PS34s abilty to create better lighting and TExtures.

I'm not trying to bash any console or anything, but it's probably because the 360 is much easier to develop games for, and it has a more impressive online system to use for showing games to the public...

I'd say give the COD4 team a medal, because that's the first time anyone has been able to do it. Finally, that extra $200 bucks is starting to seem worth it eh?

And is that from the Dev or what? Or is it their opinion? Because if so, the general attitude of the sentence makes it seem like they expect the PS3 version to look better, because of the hardware, rather than them seeing an actual difference. I don't know I'd need to see comparison videos.

Finally.

A year after launch and people are getting excited over the PS3 getting the better looking version of a game. Why are those so few and far between? I would fully expect a console coming out a year later would have better graphics right out of the gate.

Eh, with the $400 system, it's only really an extra $50.

I know no BC, but by the time my 360 got BC for the games I wanted it to get BC for(minus halo 2), I was already into Gears of War.

Eh, with the $400 system, it's only really an extra $50.

Damn, when you think about it, $400 for a Blu-ray player that plays games is a freakin' steal. If the damn system could start pumping out some games, it should take off. What have they got next year? MGS4 and FF? I haven't been paying attention really. I wish someone would come up with something new. Problem is, that price point scared so many people away they likely aren't gonna get anything that great, it'll go to either PC or 360.

Either way it is going to look good, usually the 360/PS3 ports always have one side that is slightly weaker than the other but both versions will still look amazing though.

I dunno blu-ray players are a hot item this christmas. It's gonna be hard to tell. I think the 360 will beat the PS3 however, mainly because of halo.
