COD4 copied World in Conflict rankings

WiC had the ranking system first for online play COD4 copied it. And COD4 online multiplayer blows -its just a bunch of spamming grenades and takes 2 seconds to kill someone, the xbox version is even worse gay controllers).

I haven't paid enough attention, but aren't the "ranks" borrowed from real military rankings or am I just making that up? It would make sense that both WiC and COD4 would be the same in that regard.

But yeah, comparing an FPS to an RTS type game is a bit odd.
