COD4 is garbage!

It's not garbage but yeah I'm wondering how they slapped a fresh coat of paint on the COD3 engine and made everyone think it's the best game ever made.

SW is full of people so hardcore that they are judging the crusaders by 21st century standards in one thread then in another heaping praise on a game that's built around cinematic tricks and auto lockon targeting. WTF SW?!?!?

Did none of you play COD3? Because I'm telling you there is almost zero difference between the two titles except they substituted the QTE's from COD3 with the knife in COD4.

Still a great title when all is said and done but wow have you guys ever gone soft on me. People here are calling it a revolution for crying out loud.

cod4 was awesome. i only played through veterens difficulty and its one of the most realistic fps games i played. i felt like i was actually there.

they said they didnt add cover system cause there wouldnt be time to take over cause you can shoot through walls and objects on sp and mp. i like cod4 along with rainbow six vegas, both of them do things that the other one doesnt do.

There are a few additions that make it the best in the series so far like when you get to shoot from the modern version of "Puff the magic dragon"(the C-130) and I am loving the airstrikes also but this game while good is still not as good as R6

Seriously I'm a fan of the entire series and especially COD4, but let's not make this game into something it's not.

I cant stand it no more Im about a hour or two in it and it is the most boring sp game ever made. And this game got AAA. Only thing the this game does is throw waves of people at you and it is to scripted. The graphics are cool but nothing like HL2 Ep2. The mp sucks to this game should have got a 8.0-8.5 at best. Why do people hype this crap because if you hype and buy it they are never going to change the gameplay. If this game had a good cover system like R6V then it would have been cool but with waves of people coming up to you there will be alot of dying.J-REAL

Cod4 is ok but the levels are too dang small. no vehicles in multi play? i played for maybe 5 hrs online and just not that much diff than Cod3 except no vehichiles. i wish they had made it kinda like battlefield 2 with larger battles fields. but Cod4 is decent.

COD4 Multiplayer is much better than COD3. COD3 had very unbalanced sides, whenever I would join a match I would be surprised if the teams were even, but for most of the part people would just stack up on the Allies. COD4 multiplayer is greatly superior to COD3, so if COD3 can get a 8.8 why shouldn't COD4 recieve AAA.

Play TF2 instead. It has much deeper and more fun multiplayer.dlind70

deeper as in only a couple game modes and maps? sorry that's a fail argument there, that doesn't even come close to cod 4's 16 maps, the leveling system, the perk system, the challenges (that unlock exp bonuses and scopes for weapons), and the ability to create several classes for different situations and switch through them mid-game.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the insane amount of game modes it has, far more than TF2
