COD4: Is the graphic really that good?

I got the game in the mail yesterday, and spent a couple of hours playing through the single player campaign. The single player campaign so far has been an intense and fun experience, but in terms of graphics I didnt find it impressive. Am I missing something here? I hear people praising its graphics, but it does not lookthat good. Is the pc version any better?

BTW, I am playing it on PS3, 720p samsung LCD TV.

lol I think not

The single player graphics aren't that good. You may see a few of the later levels that look great (not incredible) but overall, the game is simply decent in terms of graphics.

Well than it explains Gear's terrible framerates.

All it was ever good at was with textures, and even at a ahort distance they would look washed out. Face i, it's not that great.
