CoD4 is yet another casualized shooter

It takes zero aiming skill.. zero skill at all basically.

It takes all 90% smarts and 10% skill.

this sucks.. I wish UT3 was coming to 360 this fall so I could actually play a shooter that takes skill

Oh and don't get me wrong.. I love CoD4 and have been playing the beta non stop.. just there's no skill gap

And from what I've seen of COD4, it doesn't look too casualised. But then again, I don't think there's anything wrong with a game being a bit casualised.

One could argue that smarts is a skill.

But yeah, I don't see how Cod4 is being hyped next to a game like Crysis.

Yeah, I know, misread your post. But anyway, I don't think there's anything wrong with auto-aim. The people that love COD and always have will probably still be able to beat everyone else in it like they always have.

Key word there. 'Beta'. As in, unfinished. And most games that do have auto-aim don't let you turn it off? I can't think of a a game I own that has the auto-aim function that DOESN'T let me turn it off.

Saying there's no Auto-aim in CoD4 is like saying Halo3 isn't a FPS
