Yes, based on that one news story by that writer who said the PS3 version would have superior textures, resolution, etc. And I interjected in that thread telling people that the writer was wrong and he misremembered things (according to my source at Infinity Ward).

The Xbox 360 WAS the primary SKU for COD 4. The game was ported to PS3, very well I might add, thanks to the handiwork of two excellent cell programmers. They did a great job and the PS3 owners will be very happy with their version. It's the best multiplat title yet.

Doesnt Halo 3 rule in the jaggies department? After playing Halo3, I think almost every game will look jaggy free on xbox 360. What a blesssing!alex77k

actually for gaming needs they're pretty much even. I prefer dedicated servers though...and less 12 yr olds screaming in my ear...but hey w/e floats your boat.

If the PS3 and 360 versions are 100% identical I'm getting the PS3 one...if 360 has better framerate...then 360 version ftw

It could be possible that the PS3 was upscaling it to a 1080 resolution and that's why there were, although I hate to use the word, jaggies.

In any case, it's not a deal-breaker for me.

That's my personaly opinion. I've never really had a problem with jaggies, and never I said I did. Just as long as they're notextremely noticable. Would I prefer no jaggies, absolutely, but I'm happy that we seem to still be getting a great version of the game, and not some sloppy port. Infinity Ward seems to have worked hard, unlike a certain developer...

U should try it sometimes...the majority of people I have played w/ on the PSN have been "ok"...sure there's always someone that sucks...but in most of the games i've had an enjoyable experience

On XBL more times than not I have to mute 1/2 the people...and Halo 3 I don't even play online anymore...except w/ friends....MS should really enforce some rules...cause XBL is nothing but 12yr racist shouting kids...I hate XBL for that reason...but I NEED IT!!! :(
