CoD4 is really good, I don't know about AC - I haven't played it. If you want a good MP game go for CoD.

Well I haven't played AC yet, but I'm having a blast with COD4. Based on the reviews, I have a feeling AC wouldn't be able to compete...

COD4 would probably be the safest bet. short SP but good, lengthy MP.. Assassins Creed...impressive single player..little to no replayability (well, from what ive read obviously)

The 40th FPS this year or an awesome new action adventure game. I dont care if its great. The FPS genre is just so played out right thatI just get a"meh" feeling every time I play one, except for orange box minus TF2.

That's tough. I'd have to go with CoD4 though.

Haven't played Assassins Creed yet, but it looks like a great game. COD4, however, I own and although it doesn't revolutionize the FPS genre, it totally perfects it, IMO. It is REALLY good, and I think it just raised the bar for all FPS's to come after. A must buy.

This is just the year of FPSers. Looking back it was long overdue. I mean last year, well there was only the sixth hour Episode One. Years before that there where only less than a handfull of worth FPS games.

I'm in heaven, I seriously have zero time to play all of these games. I have yet to pickup Call of Duty 4, which is killing me, since I need to play it. I just finished BioShock, and I can't wait for Crysis and UT3.

Plus there is also a matter of me getting a 360 so I can finish the fight.

The FPS genre was long overdue for a year like this.

In a year filled with great FPS games, I'm in no particular rush to get COD4. I've played it, and it's a great, but I already have enough shooters to keep me going for a while. Assassin's Creed is a refreshing change to say the least.
