I found Halo 3's multiplayer more enjoyable; because not only is the online versus multiplayer itself a blast, but because of "forge" and "cooperative mutliplayer" all make Halo 3 one hell'uva gaming package.

Halo 3, never really got into COD4 multiplayer.

I like COD4 online in short bursts, but I can play Halo 3 online for hours on end.. actually one of the few who will say this, but I enjoy its online community aside from the wangster 12 year olds:P

Halo 3 without a doubt. COD4 has solid online play but the perks have serious balance issues and doesn't take much skill to play. Unlike Halo 3.

Overall I think Halo 3. I play CoD 4 more often, but I've had so many more memorable moments playing Halo 3 online.

On second thoughtm ODST comes with a Halo Reach Beta, so ODST it is

Y? Grifball is freakin fun and there are more game modes to play in halo 3

Though Call of duty 4 is probaly one of the best multiplayer games of the year.

Halo odst vs Modernwarfare 2 ?

Its a tie so far. Im not sure if the multiplayer in mdwf2 is going to be fun as 4. Odst has a new firefight mode which is like gears of war horde and a Halo reach beta.

Ever since Halo 2, I've never really found the games that fun. Maybe you have to play A LOT to get enjoyment out of it. I dunno, but I had more fun playing MODs in Counter-Strike:Source than Halo 3. Halo 3 does a lot of things good, but not nothing extremely well other than a few things in it's MP. Unfortuantely for me, the things it does in the gameplay of the MP game aren't the things it does extremely well. I don't know what it is about Halo 3. I just don't find that game that fun like everyone makes it out to be. I've watched people in my hall freshman year constantly playing online split screen and I still couldn't see how it was so much better than other shooters. I think the problem I have with it is it lacks the intensity and the skillful nature I find in other games. I just see everything in it as kind of bland. I don't like the weapons much, Resistance 2 easily has cooler weapons. The sound effects when I'm playing lacks power and I love great sound effects in videogames. The only weapon I love in Halo is the energy sword and I like the Spartan laser a little bit. Gameplay wise, I could probably play a lot and be dominate at Halo 3 because I just see it as shooter with easy, generic controls that feature guns with no recoil at all. I like recoil in my guns. Even in the announcer dude in Halo sucks. Everytime I hear the double kills etc, I just think about how much better the Unreal Tournament announcer sounded, lol. It's just like nothing about the game that I see as amazing.

I just can't really explain it though, I've tried the best I could to explain why I don't like Halo games that much. I think it's personally just me being weird I dunno. I really don't find it as fun/intesne as other other FPS.

It's kind of funny. When I first saw the multiplayer of CoD4 before it came out and saw how the main perk system worked with the ranking, I instantly thought it was genius and knew how well it could work. Now CoD4 is one of the most popular FPS with IMO, the best online system in terms of replayability.

Overall Halo 3.

I both like those 2 games for their own way. I remember when COD4 first came out I stopped playing Halo 3 completely for 3-4 months, but then got back into Halo 3. For me Halo 3 has great replay value due to the unique games they tend to have time to time on double exp weekends.
