as you can see, it needs a pretty good PC to run on. right now the servers are pretty packed as it is, demo just went up a little over an hour ago. it took me about 10 minutes of trying before i finally got a good connection and it let me start downloading. you'll get a timeout connection error the first few times. just keep trying. plus itll be harder with even more people trying to download. so go, crash their servers, download the demo, and enjoy. :D

i dont know. just keep trying the link. like i said it took me a while. and even the first time i got a connection it didnt work, and i had to try all over again.

yea i know. it may have not been the best idea. but i wanted to let everyone here know that wants to play it that the demo is up. even if you cant download it this very second, keep the link and im sure by tonight things will be back to normal. its overloaded right now because its been up for less than 2 hours and i still have that long left for the download. its been 45 min and im only at 12%.

Still no Fileplanet download up yet, ah well, not too interested in this after the 360 beta ... I dunno I genuinley hate Xbox360 shooters style/control/online anyway so I'l give this a chance on the PC I guess ... although I can see it being a headshot fest if the 360 is anything to go by (2 shots anywhere kills pretty much).

Let us know when Unreal Tournement 3 Demo is up tmrow, now THAT i'l get excited about :D

large files sizes and slow download speeds dont exacly mix well together....

somehow, I doubt yahoo games can handle this much badiwith as someone like Fileplanet can.

The Yahoo link doesn't even work anymore (at least it didn't for me.)

I'm using Filefront instead..getting ~300KB/s, not too bad.

Well when my parts for my PC get back,I should be able to run it max.I wonder how the 360 version will stand up to the PC version.

1.8ghz Dual Core for minimum that is pretty high. I only have 1.8ghz Core 2 dual. So do I meet the recommended requirement? It says 2.4 dual core but I have a Core 2 dual. After running bioshock on high at 45fps I thought I was set for a while.chansaet

your set, its reffering to a Pentium D...which is outclassed easily by a core 2 duo.
