if your friends r gonna have lanparties then is there a choice.
i too am wondering if i should get it for pc or 360. which gameplay feels more rewarding to kill a dude?
Im having a hard time to decide because one of my main gaming things is my xbox but most of my friends are telling me to get it for pc because they have lan partys. Can you guys help me settle this? ThanksCornerstore
Why not ask you friends instead of the idiots of SW?

If you have a very good gaming rig, then get it for the PC. If you have a lackluster one, get it for the 360.
i remembered it is very short campaign so i will borrow it from a friend, beat it, then i'llplay the game, and give it back. lolPaper_Knife
Most people on Live are terrible.
CoD4 on 360 is like a shooting gallery, while on the PC you are going to have more of a challenge online.
I think that's something you should also base your choice on.
i dont know much about those lan party things..
but im going to get it for the pc i think as soon as you can use the 360 controller on it..other wise im getting it for the next best version wich is the 360 version..
you have live and that is still great tp play with your freinds..

PC imo.
For LANs with your mates, better controls, lag free online, better visuals (heck at least it'll be in HD).

I did a lan party once when Doom was all the rage on PC's..... never did them again, what a lot of fuss and lugging around that was!
I would get it for 360 personally for xbox live and the better controls as kb and mouse is an awful control method, might as well just have a button marked kill everyone on screen to press every 5 seconds... where is the game in that? - takes no bloody skill to use a mouse and everyone says thats the best way to play? - lol
Give yourself a challenge and play with the controller along with everyone else on 360 live. The triggers and rumble all help make it feel good too :)

Dude, I was having the same debate myself. I own a PS3 and I didn't know which version to get because I also have an awesome PC. Well, I ended up buying the PS3 version, but I seriously regret it. I have the COD4 demo on my PC and the game looks a LOT better. There is a lot of difference between a high end PC and consoles. If you want the best looking thing out there, get it for the PC. If your PC isn't good enough to run it well, then get it for the 360. The game is awesome. I just got it yesterday and the online is fun as heck.
PC! Why? Here's why:
-Better Graphics
-Better Controls
-Skill required
-Mods
-More people online (i've been in 25vs25 servers)
-No lag
This list can go on, but you get the point.

No I play COD4 alot on 360 - at my neighbours, over system link and ive played it live, and I have it on PC.Keyboard and mouse s*** all over gamepad controls. And no with a superiour control method you actually feel asthough you are in control, rather than using clunky analouge sticks. Hell even my neighbour who bought it on 360 agrees.
Not to mention the modifications that are comming out.
Oh if COD4 on 360 had two player online play, then i would be saying its alot more comparable to the Pc version.
