COD4 to easy online?

its a noob friendly game, its for the "oh halo sucks" crowd.

the game has an INSANEamount of auto-aim, rewards campers, and takes no skill.

but hey, its fun. who cares.

Hey guys, don't flame for this but COD4 has a awesome single player. Though its short, it packs a punch. But you can tell that IW put a lot of their efforts for the online portion. I've only had the game for 2 weeks, and i only game sometimes due to college studies. I already did prestige mode and again at level 21. Everything is to easy to gain points, plus all the guns dont really make a huge difference expect Pistols and snipers. I use the M16 or the G36C both with the SD's. It's still very easy, has anyone else got'en bored? I mean it takes no effort, and I'm not playing against bad people. I play with a lot of those Prestige mode people, it matches me good actually. Any1 feel the game is to easy? Not get me wrong, its fun but to easy.. the changllege is sometimes taken out due to that.SiKh22

I Feel the same way sometimes but I make it challenging for myself but sniping on 80% of the maps, except for wetwork,vacancy and shipment I think there is another but I can't remember it right now. Sniper +Pistol. I arrived at level 55 with 1 day 11hours played =/ and I have almost everything unlocked for most of the guns.

dont know about the PC version (shouldve gotten that i guess) but when you are shooting someone trying to get a good shot, and then someone runs across the screen and your character does a 90 degree turn......that equals, TURN DOWN THE AUTOAIM!!!

looking at your statement, youre the scrub in here. go play some real shooters then talk. TF2 (even the laggy 360 version PWNS THIS NUBBY GARBAGE)

I sometimes also wonder why Headshots in this game dont reg. And how people shoot through smoke blindy and always manage to kill someone :) I've seen my teammates do that so many timesSiKh22

Haha that's uav working for ya. If a dot stays in one spot too long just fire in the spot if you have DP and it will most likely kill the person.

QFT!! i only play with assault and sub machine gun (mostly sub to make it more fun) and i die a lot because every **** on the map has martydom... last stand guys are easy to take out though

yes, if i took this trash seriously and brought in the barret 50 cal, put some claymores behind my door, and start roasting the marshmallows, i would have a 3.0 k/d as well. but the sad thing is, i play this with my friends now and run around with my p90...TRYING to create some fun,

last night we had 8 person free for all with all Deagles and no left triggers (honor rule)/ no perks.....probably had the most fun in cod4

and dont try to act like a PC snob, its not the 360s fault, the fact is THIS game caters to scrubs.

Ok first off Call of Duty 4 is a lot better than halo cuz it doesnt take an hour to kill somebody. Im not trying to waste 30 shots on one person because it makes it almost impossible to win in an outnumbered situation. Also, halo 3 has a lot more auto aim than cod does cuz i can when im snipin in halo, i can just drag my crosshair across the screen n get hs when im not even aiming.Bballer101

it takes 4 headshots with the BR to take down someone in halo, IF i were not good enough to do that, i would say, "Halo sucks" as well. sorry.

and, the sliding snipe was taken out in halo3, so.......there goes your credibility, trying playing the game first.

Fact is I had to change to sniping to make it harder than me so don't think i have a good k/d from sniping it's actually getting worse cause I have 155ping and it's terribly hard to snipe with that. PC snob? lol you are taking the system wars think a little too far, all i said was if you don't like the auto aim buy it for PC next time and yes unless you didn't realise the 360 caters to scrubs not only this game but most FPS. They all have some sort of auto aim.

My apologise I didn't think it was THAT bad with the auto aim. But i guess if they didn't to that the game would be too fast for controllers. You will either have to slow the pace to that of halo for that to work out.

Dude trust me, I beat the Crap out of a lot of good people. Most use Scopes and i use a SD with the iron sight that takes most of the screen. Also i use the M16, and its burst :) or the MP5

Well the thing is Gr and R6 both have very very steep penalties for getting flanked or surrounded or naded while grouped and they only allow you 1 life for the modes I play those games are EXTREMELY team oriented, just like Counter strike, a bad team can even make the best player look like a noob. It's not the same for halo from my expierence but I will follow up on what you suggested me to watch.

COD2 didnt do that. you actually had to aim to put the guns sight on the dude, instead of the game basically giving you the kill, like in cod4. its a designchoice that IW put in to attract the "i HATE halo/gears/rainbowsix/ghostrecon/TF2 (insert anyother shooter i got owned on" crowd. looking at the sales its working for them.

so slow pace= noob friendly??? so ghost recon, rainbowsix etc. are noob friendly? i admit halo is more mainstream than most shooters, but if you watch the MLG kids, or people who actually know what theyre doing. youll know where the depth in halo comes from. its a much more team oriented game.

Well the thing is Gr and R6 both have very very steep penalties for getting flanked or surrounded or naded while grouped and they only allow you 1 life for the modes I play those games are EXTREMELY team oriented, just like Counter strike, a bad team can even make the best player look like a noob. It's not the same for halo from my expierence but I will follow up on what you suggested me to watch.

Game doesn't have auto aim for the PC version at least. Doesn't reward campers (Hi uav) and it takes a bit of skill but it doesn't take that much though, but good players who choose GOOD perks and not cheap stuff like matyrdom or last stand will rock you. Speaking of that why would someone take a perk that happens when they die? You are obviously a noob and expecting to die alot if you do that.

I have 20 hours played online so far, and im only at level 36. The problem with most people that play COD4 online is that they play for points so that they can prestige 100000 times, while their kill/death ratio is horrible. COD4 is very addicting if you worry about your kills/deaths. If i get more than 8 deaths in a match, its a bad game for me. My kill/death ratio ATM is 2.81 and it keeps getting higher. If you kill, you get points. Sooner or later i will level up, but im in no rush.

first off, STOP PWR/DEEPIMPACT 35+ kills everygame, srry im not a scrub that uses last stand. 1.87 k/d ratio. played it for 2 weeks prestige 2 lvl 45

dont know about the PC version (shouldve gotten that i guess) but when you are shooting someone trying to get a good shot, and then someone runs across the screen and your character does a 90 degree turn......that equals, TURN DOWN THE AUTOAIM!!!

looking at your statement, youre the scrub in here. go play some real shooters then talk. TF2 (even the laggy 360 version PWNS THIS NUBBY GARBAGE)

I have never experienced that degree of auto aim...i think there's an option to turn it off...i may be wrong though.

and TF2 got a patch to fix the UNBEARABLE lag.

Well now that didn't say much. I hear alot of chatter but nothing else really.

It does take quite a few shots to kill a person though, but being a pc gamer, (sorry I don't have much expierence with fps on consoles, I have halo but it's too slow for me), i didn't find it impressive only part that was REALLY impressive was the sniping part. He knows how to use the radar in halo very well and that's one of the biggest reasons other than he has fast reflexes that he does so well.

Thats one of the reasons why i never get to enjoy Halo's multiplayer. Too many hardcore nerds. They take Halo's MP as their life and totally own the sh*t out of everyone. And i dont suck either. Its just that when you are on a team with total strangers running around everywhere while on the other team its like they are SWAT, probably all in one room together drawing out the map layout coloring in flank position, etc before the match begins.

COD4 took Halo's throne for me in the best online, competitive FPS department. The gameplay is just getting too old for me. Ive played H2 for over 3 years straight online, and Halo 3 really isnt that much different. I was expecting new and exciting gamemodes for H3, but all Bungie gives us is old, boring H2 gamemodes
