Both look nearly identical. Looks like the focus of Killzone though as been immersion through graphics and technology. The A.I., physics, animations, and overall gameplay look superior in Killzone than they do in CoD 4. The lighting and the destructable levels also give Killzone 2 the edge.
Where CoD 4 comes in is in shear scale and beauty. It has amazing textures, lighting (while not as good as Killzone, it is pretty damn good), and just quanity. Where I see CoD 4 lacking is in the gameplay, looks like CoD 1-3 just set in a modern time. Hopefully when I finally play it, it plays differently.
Personally Killzone 2 looks to be the better game. Though both games look to be AAA material. Killzone 2 though looks amazing, way better than anybody expected it to look. It may not be the CGI that they showed in 2005, but it is the best thing we have seen running on a console yet.
Luckly if you are a cow and own a PS3 you can have your cake and eat it to by buying both games.
