Does UT even have a story?, the game is so generic that I can't remember. It's nothing but a frag fest, old. COD4 wipes the floor with it.BION1CK
It has a story, but not anything very detailed or compelling. But naturally, in the multiplayer department, UT3 will be a much better game.
And I'm sorry but If any sub-genre of FPS games is generic, it's the masses of uninspired WW2 and Modern Warfare shooters that have been coming out in the past few years. Add CoD4 to that pile.
Sci-Fi shooters are where it's at ;)
ut3 looks pretty sick but cod4 will wipe the floor with itlkrmsy
Maybe as a singleplayer game. As a multiplayer title CoD4 looks pretty boring compared to the variety and action in UT3.

You would certainly hope so, considering UT has always been about multiplayer.[QUOTE="lkrmsy"]ut3 looks pretty sick but cod4 will wipe the floor with itVelocitas8

maybe its just me but i'd much rather play cod4 online than ut3. i'm just getting tired of sci-fi shooters.[QUOTE="Velocitas8"][QUOTE="lkrmsy"]ut3 looks pretty sick but cod4 will wipe the floor with itlkrmsy

To be honest, I haven't been into the CoD games at all since the first one (which I actually enjoyed.) I played the demos and read the previews, but I never even considering buying them. The setting of the games is just so...boring. I've just never been the least bit interested, so I never picked up CoD2 or 3.
For the same reasons I haven't taken a whole lot of interest in CoD4. Especially with so many other better (in my view) shooters coming out.
My interest in CoD4 is the setting, add in the great controls from CoD2 on the 360, and you have yourself an immersive, exciting shooter. It was the night vision mode that suckered me, I admit it. I beat CoD2 (only because it came with my 360), but towards the end, I felt as though the game was dragging for me, almost frustratingly so. One can only take so many WWII shooters. That's why CoD4 has me pumped. I hope for AAA. I expect something more like AA. But hey, we can dream, right?Yeah.
