I don't know. I was a crackhead for RB6V. The pace is slower than COD4, but (at least on LIVE) teams communicate and use strategy to win - which makes for some great multi-player.

I'm looking forward to RB6V2 to take over the disc spinning from COD4. Even shipment is getting a little tired (though I still won't play anything else).

how much more realistic is the rainbow 6 game compared to cod 4, is it more tactical, is it more the arcade type? i am asking because i have only played cod 4 and not r6v. thoughts.Lo_Rising

You will love RBS Vegas. It's mad fun doing some coop terriest hunt online with some buds. And it's pretty topugh to do. I just hope they cus at you againg it's great when the enemy tells you to go F yourself.:lol:

Hella realistic compared to COD. You create your own character and customise clothing and armour; shoulders, shins, torso, everything. All of that has an effect on how heavy you are, and how quickly you can move. Go for the fast option, and you're light on armour and will likely die with a single shot 90% of the time.

There's a huge number of weapons, and each one handles completely differently, with different scopes and sights, kickback, accuracy, everything. Every gun is modeled to behave as closely to the real thing as possible, with the exception of some sniper rifles which are toned down from real life to prevent mass pwnage.

You also cant chuck grenage across a map at will. You pull the pin and toss it a realistic distance. Plus it has a cover system, and tactical stuff like climbing off a roof and rapelling down a building, smashing in through the windows, rather than just walking through the door.

It rules, basically. :D

I loved R6: Vegas and have really high expectations for #2. Vegas was a ton of fun and I will definetly get #2 as long as people online are willing to play anything but Calypso. :)

I don't think so. The "military" feeling in CoD4 will stay more popular than the "cop" feeling you get in the RB6 Vegas games.

yes and no, also remember that right now on these damn consoles, there are way too many great games to buy. every month there is something really good to buy. unless you are an addict to a game, eventually your attention will go to another game.

damn that sucks for you, I never had such bad problems. of course lag would give me a big bite in the booty once in a while, but nothing for me to lose any love for that game. :D

I got a decent cable connection myself and i ran vegas 1 smoothly for the most part online.

whats funny is that R6 gives you a better military feel than COD, in Rainbow you actually use communications and tactics, unlike in COD, where everyone is running around like a chicken without a head, the most tactical part of COD is someone asking for radar then an airstrike, rinse and repeat.

COD is awsome, don't get me wrong, but Rainbow is where all the teamwork and tactics are.

I'd hate to see a military eschew any kind of tactics for simple running or gunning. Or better yet, I can just see Marines lobbing grenades or launching rockets across the maps with willful regard. I don't see a whole lot of "military" in the game except for the story and the weapons.

I have 4mb connection on the top rated uk ISP. No other game has ever lagged badly for me. COD2-4 have run fine on both my 360 and PC (hell my ping barely went above 70 on CoD2 pc).
