There is no way for them to charge without locking the game some type of online account like Steam or GFWL. If they could I am sure they would so at this point they can't. Enjoy yoru free maps because sooner or later they will begin charging when Steam DLC kicks off. You get free maps and I don't ::roll: WHo cares

I really don't no what to say to this........

Instead of going of megoing offon one abouthow much more control you with a mouse and keyboard I will just keep it nice and sweet:

I actually prefer playing with a keybaord and mouse.

Yep sure is sweet to have a nice PC that can play these games and DOSNT cost 1500, and then get free stuff that i'd be paying for on my consoles.

You can use a controller on a PC too, but I don't know why you would want to. IMO kb/m >>>>>> controller for many types of games (especially FPS).

F to crouch? Okay, you obviously haven't played a first person shooter game on a mouse and keyboard. Have fun wagging that little stick at a slow rate when you have to shoot someone behind you, and you end up dying before you can turn around.

I beg to differ. To buy a decent gaming rig from scratch your looking at around $1000-1200. Not everybody has a keyboard, mouse, and monitor laying around ontop of a good case...

I can do all of that on a $300.00 PC inluding play games from 1998. IT wouldn't play COD but big deal.

AdamPA1006

Ummm..... NO!

Using a different input device doesn't make that person more skilled at a game than someone else using a different input device. It's entirely possible for someone using dual analog to be a much better gamer than someone using kb/m.

Also since using kb/m makes it easier to aim, then all it proves really is that the user with kb/m has less skill.

PS. and since console users are playing against other console owners then what does it matter even if what you said was factual.

Its been a while since I gamed on the PC, guess now is about the right time. And COD5 sucks anyways, who cares about the map pack.

Yup, glad I got WAW on PC. And plus a mouse and keyboard will own a game pad user any day. Fact.

whatisazerg

Ummm.....

So because its easier to aim it proves kb/m has less skill? What kind of argument is that?

What games are you playing where people just stand around waiting for you to kill them? You still have to aim. You still need reflexes. That's why a newb to PC games can't just go around winning every single match.

The fact is that yes KB/M is superior in terms of controls. How well you play depends on your reflexes.

You don't know what the heck your talking about. If a control device has to have limitations it dosen't make it skillful it makes it more frustrating.

Why not? I don't care what he purchased long ago. This is what the prices are now, so deal with it.DragonfireXZ95

Hey, 4 gb DDR2 for $45 and a 500gb hard drive for 60 bucks? I'm upgrading soon. lol

Its been a while since I gamed on the PC, guess now is about the right time. And COD5 sucks anyways, who cares about the map pack.

I kinda wish I bought a bigger HDD than my 320.

Yeah, I have no idea where he got F for crouch. I don't think there's been any game where F is the default button for crouch.

I know how to use it, it's just no very ... comfortable. I find it puts far more strain on my fingers. The layout of the buttons is also not as easy as a controller, but i guess that is more preference.

Yep, it's preference. The layout is very easy to use if you've used a keyboard a lot. ;)

Unlike controllers, you can map the keys to any button you want. There are mouses with sidebuttons you can map too for ease of use.
