COD5 on wii...

Wow the wii finally gets a big name multiplat. Congrats. Unfornatley COD5 will suck in general since it's not made by Infinity Ward. Shame that.

frankly my hopes aren't very high for this game... ESPECIALLY the wii version.... i hope i am wrong though :)

Wii is the low end of the stick. Can't blame the COD5 developers.

Why the critical reception of previous COD games developed by Treyarch might not have been as good as that from the games developed by Infinity Ward, none of us have played it and can therefore not deem it as being worse than COD4. Don't get me wrong, I would be very surprised if it did better than COD4, that's a difficult game to top. What im trying to say is give the game a chance.

You can have more than one game per genre you know.

Do you ever play other games that's not on wii? Even though i love MP3(best game on wii...although that's not saying much) it's not even a FPS...doens't even have online multiplayer. Not even the same type of experience. lol.

I might get that.

I will get it for the ps3 too but playing the game with the wii gun thing would be cool. Plus we will need all the practise we can get since next gen it looks like all consoles will be using motion controls.

Ya but teh COD4 was teh bestest generic FPS ever becuz the multiplayer was better dan on threeee!!

Except it wasn't. COD3's singleplayer was the main let down. If they fix that and have a mix of COD4 and 3 online then it'll be brilliant. And the Wii version will have the improved controls (don't forget COD3 was a launch title), better graphics than before and hopefully will follow MoH:Heroes 2 and have a proper style online with choices of servers rather than completely random matches. It might not be as good looking as the 360 and PS3 versions but if the developers don't have these features they can't blame it on the Wii's limitations, they only have themselves to blame.

Every single COD game , till now , was famous for its atmosphere and the clean and gorgeous graphics. Now the question here is , besides the gameplay that will be different , how the graphics will look. Will COD5 on wii catch the whole atmosphere and the gorgeous graphics that the others versions will have.

I think wont be good. Maybe something different for Wii , that will make Wii owners a little escited with a good 3rd party game at last , but in the end, will be way "different" and feel "weird" compared with the prototype that will release on PC-PS3-X360. Thats my opinion ofc , maybe im wrong.

COD 5: longer devolepment time, bigger budget, not a launch title, cod 4 - engine, perks and level-up system, vehicles, flamethrowers and a FRICKIN' KATANA!

why? from the sound of the developers it could be quite good. For example we have reached the time 3rd parties are actually putinh effort into wii verions of the game. we can see by the fact that the wii verion :

is being developed in house

will be compatible with the wii zapper

will use the cod4 engine

will have co-op

will have online multiplayer

seems pretty promising to me

wow at this fps fanboy. Multiplayer isnt always the juice of the game okay? If you look at the top games of all time, they are nearly all single player, with an added coop **** mode (Super Mario Galaxy). Let me list some games: Ocarina of Time, re4, Chrono Trigger, Bioshock, etc.
