COD5 or Left 4 Dead

Since I'm a little short on cash this holiday:cry: i only have enough for 4 games.

Banjo Kazooie:Nuts and Bolts

Gears 2

Fable 2

I want just one fps and i can't decide between cod5 and left 4 dead... what do u guys think:question:

i'm playing cod5 right now, while its good, it'll wear out like cod4 did, but probably quicker if you played 4. not many new perks or gun attachments/updgrades. its solid, but no surprises. l4d would be completely new and fresh, so ..ya.hopesfall2own

True, but COD is proven to be a great game in Multiplayer, L4D has not. The new revive perk has everyone running around trying to heal their teammates makes the MP harder in COD, World at War also has Multiplayer vehicles, and I've been playing COD4 for about a Year and it hasn't worn off yet I still love playing it.

I'm in that CoD5 beta. go with something else. this game will get old very fast. especally if you're a cod4 player.Dreams-Visions

I disagree about the sniper comment. It might be harder to use when the other team is rushing or depending on where you are at in the maps, but the sniper is actually powerful. I been able to get a lot of 1 hit kills with it with and I found the aiming is as easy as cod4.

well for me its depending how COD5 ends up i might get it,

left for dead is not my cup of tea

and the other 3 games im getting this holiday season is red alert 3.dead space and gears of war 2

I played it for 20 minutes, and decided 4 was better.

Whens the last time you played a Valve Multi-player centric FPS that wasn't awesome?

Left 4 Dead.

But I guess you knew I was going to say that.

Or he should just get the better of the two games. Left 4 Dead. In fact, COD WAW would be the last fps on my list this year.

As much as I think Left 4 Dead is going to be a truly weak game, it's going to be at least as good as DoD and TF2...and in that case, it will be a better game than COD5.

Oh, sir. There is Zombie intensity all over Valve games. I'm not even sure why L4D exists. There are so many BA mods out for Source games right now it's not even funny.

sounds cool....might have to look into some of them

but in all honesty...with R2 coming out soon im not gonna be buying either of these for some time....R2's online is addictive chaotic bliss

L4D...no contest its original and its made by valve.

COD5 is a blant rehash of COD4...but because COD4 has propelled the series to Halo level fame,they'll make a lot of money off of COD5.

Everyone will tell you to get L4D but the truth be told no one will be online playing it because everyone will be playing COD:WAW, if not that they'll still be playing COD 4. L4D will come out and everyone will be excited for it then it will fade away because it doesn't look like it has that lasting appeal, and I really want to play L4D I'll be renting it for sure. Get the game you know everyone will be playing plan and simple if more of your friends are getting L4D get that if they are getting COD:WAW get it, that is if you enjoy playing with you friends xxyetixx

Every Single Zombie Mod sucks, that's why Left 4 Dead is being made.

i'm in the COD5 beta, have been from the start. the new maps are nice, and so are some of the minor changes - but if you own COD4 the choice is clear as say - L4D!.

Ya, I've played 23 days of COD 4 multiplayer, but I am finding myself hating those exact same things you mentioned. I'll still pick it up eventually, but L4D and Gears just look like more fun ATM.
