Which game do you think will be more fun in terms of:
1. Stealth
2. Combat

Wow these two games focus heavily on those two factors. Ubisoft improved the combat even further on Brotherhood, and Batman Arkham Asylum had some pretty coool combat. Im going with Assassins Creed.
Im not sure what game will be "better" in stealth and combat but I'll be getting Batman day one not sure if I'll be picking up AC
Unfair comparison since Batman's combat and stealth, (abeit pretty limited in both) are superior by far.:P
I love Assassins Creed mroe than Batman, (which is why I'm getting AC Rev this year and Batman on PC next year), but Batman is the better playing game, plus it's not as automatic. AC has other features which make it more fun to me imo.:P
Batman, considering Assassin Creed is terrible both combat and stealth. The series really needs massive improvement in these two areas.

Which won't probably ever happen with the yearly releases we are getting. It's just trying to become more cinematic now, which works for some games, not every game.:?
I loved Assassin's Creed's stealth, but it was way too easy in combat. Arkham Asylum's combat system was more challenging and was still fun as well.
Judging by the previos games in each series, they will be very different styIes of games. Comparing them is kinda moot. However, if Arkham Asylum is anything to go by, ACR will have much more content than AA. However both are gonna be awesome, and I will get AA after a price drop.
The stealth and fighting is better in Batman. But in AC stealth and fighting is really good to and the free running is what makes AC the better series to me. Stoked for both games though.
I like both games so i will have a hard time choosing. For some reason the atmosphere while in stealth and performing combat in Batman seems more visceral and "thick".

Maybe because in Batman when stealth is required the dudes have guns.
[QUOTE="SquirrelTamer"]1. Batman hands down 2. Batman hands down And this I know without ever havin played a batman gamestarjet905How can you know without playing? That's fanboyism and/or downright stupidity. Anyway, IMO, combat: AC, stealth: weak on both. I'd go with AC, though, as the whole swinging from gargoyle to gargoyle in order to hide felt so ... dumb. :P Cause nothing can be worse than Assassin's Creed in those 2 areas. At least judging from ACB

No I have all of them, what I meant was that both combat and stealth has become worse for every game in the series, now to the point where I can't imagine how possibly could be any worse.

Worse? Good god man.... I doubt you've played it. Anyone who's actually played AC1 can see that it improved GREATLY.

You mean like that there is absolutely no traces of stealth left and the combat is so unchallenging and easy? It's not even you fightin really. You just press square once and the the game kills 40 bad guys for you.I think Batman is better in both areas. A challenge mode in Asassin's Creed (more expande than the training in Broterhood) wouldn't work because the gameplay is not nearly as good. AC best gameplay area is the parkour imo, which looks and feels amazingly. Two of my favourite franchises!

In Assassin's Creed II I remember playing the tombs like I was playing Batman. I'd hide, then kill a sole dude, hide his body, then do it again, unless I could get buy. At this point I might say Batman has the upper hand (since I played ACII like Batman), but ACII has the whole hiding in plain sight aspect and the large open world. There are more ways to avoid enemies and be stealthy and it offers more freedom as well. At the same time though, Batman's maps are perfect for stealth gameplay, with the gadgets and different options all placed together perfectly for some sweet moments, so crashing through a plate glass roof to take down a baddie as you detonate two others who come to investigate can be just as cool as silently destroying a group with a spear and a triple throwing knife throw.
In combat Batman is great, but Brotherhood takes the already good AC combat and adds the Batman chaining, so its hard to say Batman, especially when Batman can't disarm an enemy to use his weapon against him or take three guys out at once with a well held throw of some knives.
