Yeah, in your opinion.
To me, nothing beats coming home from work and then plant myself on the most comfy couch ever and enjoy playing games on a big screen. Strech out, put up your feet... I still prefer that over sitting in front of my PC on my leather chair with my headphones on (and yes, I got both things).

lol so you think that one cannot game on consoles sitting on a comfy leather chair or that a PC gamer doesnt game usinga surround system over headphones???? (how sad!!)
Gaming is fun on both consoles & PC's since all systems have much to offer...(oohh and handhelds too)
(personally i feel more comfortable sitting on a nice couch infront of my 42" Panasonic Plasma & listening to the lovely sound coming from my Bose surround system... but thats just me)

Hmmm, i play both my PS3 and my Pc on the same 40" tv whilst sat on the same couch. Just use pad on PS3 and a 360 wired pad or wireless m/kb for pc. Both as comfortable as can be. The only real problem i have is on PC games.....I play them all in 1080p so for some games the writing is very very small, even on the big screen, i have to strain my eyes to read it.FrozzikThat's cool but sucks about the text though. Do you use a KB/M in your lap? Is that comfortable/intuitive?

It depends how and where i am sat tbh. I have a board for the mouse, sometimes that is on my lap and kb at my side, sometimesthe other way around. My couch is a corner one so many places to sit or lay lol. Whichever i choose its comfortable and easy to use.

I have an editing room/office where my PC lives, with a nice chair, decent speakers, nice desk, loads of elbow room. That's where my PC games live.
My 360 lives in the basement, with 2 couches, my race wheel setup, the Rock Band kit, and enough room to run around with a full Rock Band party and have a blast, on a 106" projector screen.
When I do game on my PC, I feel like a hermit. All hunched over the keyboard & mouse. Couches win. You can flop around without worrying about a mouse pad and i crank my sound as loud as I can (Unless the g/f is sleeping but there's 2 floors difference so it's not too bad)
Thanks for sharing :D. Now, all I need is your address so I can rob you blind :P. That's the one thing I hate about PC gaming is being hunched over a desk and monitor :(.I have an editing room/office where my PC lives, with a nice chair, decent speakers, nice desk, loads of elbow room. It's not bad if you have a quality comfortable leather reclining chair, and bring at least a 22" monitor to your eye level. I often use a couple pillows to sit on and for back support. This helps with those late night frag sessions. I also have a sweet leather couch with a 50" Pioneer plasma and can safely say that my PC gaming setup is nearly as comfy as the living room.
But I will add this.. as a PC and PS3 gamer, I tend to lose my attention quicker gaming with PS3 on the couch. I guess I'm trying to say that it's possible to be too comfortable. For instance, after an hour or so of Uncharted I felt too relaxed to be immersed in the game. Don't get me wrong, Uncharted is a beautiful and immersive game (beat it twice) but if you sit too far back (even with 50") and relaxed on the couch you have to REALLY be into the game. So eventually I need to sit upright with something similar to my leather pc gaming chair to continue the console experience. Thus, eliminating the comfort advantage of consoles. Get it?
I've pulled all nighters with Final Fantasies, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gears, etc on the couch. But those are story driven game, much like movies where a couch can aid in the fun factor. I could NEVER be serious with a game like Resistance with the same setup. That's why I only rent Resistance 1, 2 and will do the same for KZ2 for the campaign mode. This is where PC dominates. The most I've played in one sitting was 24 hours, and that was back in the day with Quake 3 when I was in a couple clans, and heavy competition. I only got up to piss. I used the mini fridge and microwave (hermit's survival kit) without leaving my chair. At that time, I'de game for at least 8-10 hours a day. Very unhealthy, so I don't recommend. In any case, I spend my money on having a comfortable setup for my PC. I can safely say I was FULL THROTTLE ALERT every minute in front of the PC.. and could keep a steady frag count. Sorry but there's way too many distractions with a big screen on a couch (at least for me) to be able to pull that off elsewhere.
Both are winners here, but I'll agree with TC and choose quality chair+monitor+headphones as preferred.
