Microsoft has first party developers too it's just that they don't give them the appropriate care. That's why I cringe everytime a good developing studio like Rare goes to Microsoft, with that you're pretty much certain it will dissapear or become a Natal guinea pig.OdrecWHO? The only company comes to mind is Rare. Rare is not the company that made all of those great games back then. The talent at Rare left before Nintendo sold the company. They are only Rare in name.
if 360 didnt exist themultiplats would look nothing like today, they would look pretty much like all ps3 exclusives.

And they also almost destroyed Bungie but they managed to get away luckily. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2009/08/26/ms-nearly-destroyed-us-and-bungie/1
the devs for MS have to work with what they have.ANYONE who thinks building a new engine is gonna make the graphics comparable to ps3s 1st party is truly foolish
[QUOTE="racing1750"]True, but titles such as Alan wake may change this.Animal-MotherAlan wake isn't a first party game. Dam you're right :P

Like Haze and Mag? No thanks
My point is that PS3 fanboys seem to believe all PS3 exclusives look better than the rest of games. In fact only KZ2 and U2 look better than Gears2 and some multiplays. Most PS3 exclusives dont even look close to some good looking multiplats like RE5, AC2 and Farcry2
I believe in order to be truly fair in judging the graphics you have to pit each systems exclusive against each other I won't lie each console has some games that are just jaw-dropping and they also have games that feel "last gen" honestly its hard to determine which gaming giant will take the top spot for having the best graphics
When on the same level Multiplat, the 360 versions almost always look better.OwnallConsoles
Multiplats are developed for 360, then later ported for PS3. Your logic is flawed.
Exclusives are the better source for comparison because both platform have their own 1st/2nd party devs focusing all their efforts on the game.

And it still doesnt look as good as UNC2 not to mention you only fight people during the nighttime scenes which are very dark and linear even more so then UNC2. Check the gameplay trailers they have out.

Ensemble disbanded almost a year ago...

343 Industries, Lionhead, BigPark, Turn 10, Wingnut, and Xbox Live Productions make up Microsoft Game Studios's in-house team, which is embarrassing compared to Sony's sixteen and Nintendo's how ever many devs they have.

The only one at fault for that Is Microsoft. Perhaps they should pay money for studios rather then spending 50 million on exclusive content to old games and spending money to bring over 3rd party exclusives on the same day.

Exactly. MS wants to win but doesn't want to have to work for it or pour themselves into the games. They rely on 3rd party games too much. Please Log In to post.
