Sega had some great systems and innovative games.  My personal favorite as with many other people, Radiant Silvergun for the Saturn.  My Saturn is still my favorite systems and RSG is still one of my favorite games.  I wish Sega was still doing hardware.

So are you, or were you ever an Sega fan?

If you were...

What was your favorite Sega system?

What was your favorite Sega game?

I loved Sega. The Genesis, Saturn, and DC are some of the best consoles ever, but I would never want another Sega console. There games have went downhill. I would not ever buy a new console from them based on exclusives. Some things are best left for memories, and sadly Sega is one of them.

yeah I love them too....or more like loved, they were actually the ones introduced me to gaming with their Mega Drive/Genesis system and I've been hooked ever since, just shame they don't keep up the same quality that they used too

I had a lot of fun with my Saturn. Still break it out once in a blue moon to throw down with some Area 51, Virtua Cop 1 & 2, Die Hard Arcade, World Series Baseball, etc.

dreamcast. god system i thought but it crashed and burned. my favorite sega game is gottab the blue fuzzball. sonic. i especially enjoyed the second sonic adventure with shadow. i want them to make shadow games more like sonic again. i hate how shadow has a gun or drives vehicles. its stupid. shadow was mad fun to play as in sonic adventure 2.

I was a huge Genesis fanboy. If I remember right, that was the system that brought me Phantasy Star 4 and Shining Force 2, some of the best rpgs I've ever played.

I was a huge Sega Fan.  I've had Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, and Dreamcast.  My favorite system was teh Dreamcast.  It seemed like that system pumped out a top-notch title every week.  Sega had a great 1st party line-up as well.

Then Sega went 3rd party.  Apart from VF4, VF4:evo, some of the 2k games, and Jet Grind, they have gone down hill for me.  I can't rememer the last Sega game I bought.  I will buy VF5 on PS3 though.

Sega was cool before, they just flat-out suck these days.

My favorite system was probably Dreamcast.  (I played Genesis, but I was still a little kid back then and couldn't experience everything it offered)

My favorite game is actually a relatively new one, Panzer Dragoon Orta for the Xbox.

I was a Sega fanboy when I was a kid. I liked Genesis and Master System more than NES and SNES. But once PS1 came around, and Sega stopped making hardware I became a PS fan. Sega does have some of the best games ever though. PowerStone 1 and 2 are two of the most underrated games ever, (at least fighting games), and Shinobi for Master System was insane.

Dreamcast is so underrated too.  That was the best 128-bit system after PS2.  It's too bad Sega gave up on it.

The saturn is the only old system I have ever kept around the house, To be honest though its actually more for my gf as she is a freaking Baku Baku maniac and would kill me if I ever got rid of the Saturn. Every once in awhile I will break out Virtua Cop or House of the Dead and get in some dual lightgun John Woo action.

Used to have a Genesis in the house. Wish I still did... Not really a fanboy though, I never got into Sonic and I played the Nintendo more.

I loved the Genesis/Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast. For some reason, the Saturn is my preferred. I love the Virtua Fighter series, Shenmue and Panzer Dragoon. I have Radiant Silvergun for the Saturn, great game, and proved the Saturn can do transparencies.

I love Sega I only owned the Genesis, and Dreamcast I regret not owning a Saturn, but my favorite System is the Genesis just because I had more games for it then the Dreamcast, and my favorite game is probably Sonic the Hedgehog, or McDonald's Treasureland Adventure I didn't own alot of Genesis games either because I also had an SNES at the time.

I've never overly liked Sega consoles/games, I will admit however, Sonic and the Secret Rings is looking tempting.

I absolutely love my Dreamcast and Saturn, so much so that I gave them custom paint jobs. Soul Calibur was the last console game that blew me away graphically, and NiGHTS was the game that brought me back into console gaming.

For me it's a tie between the Saturn and the Dreamcast. Both (IMO) were, for their time, a notch above the Genesis / Master System. Although I never owned a Sega system I didn't enjoy.

wow im surprised at how many people actually liked the saturn. i thought the saturn was so advanced cuz my friend had one when i still had a genesis. that was a fun system. usually most people make it out to be a total flop but most here have said they loved it. thats pretty cool.

I had a genesis and a DC. Sonic 2 and Jet Set Radio, as well as Sonic Adveture 2 were my personal favorites. Oh, and Amce all-stars for the genesis, but whatever.

Only Sega system I took interest in buying was the Dreamcast after its price divebombed. The graphics were great at the time and it let me play an exclusive game from my top franchise, Resident Evil: CV. Favourite game would have to be Shenmue, although special mention goes to Toy Commander and Headhunter.
