Hurr, hurr, 360 can't do HD.
Seriously, is the difference that noticeable if you don't have a 150" LCD or something like that?
I find even 1080p noticeable on anything larger than a 30". 2560x1600 is the way to go for screens that size. And now the "360 is at its limits" arguments start up again...Hurr, hurr, 360 can't do HD.

1080p is very noticeable on a 30+ " screen also x360 version runs at 576p or 1024*576 much less than the ps3 version at 720p or 1280*720Hurr, hurr, 360 can't do HD.

Still getting it on the 360 though
Why get the inferior version if you have the option to get the superior version?. Same reason why more people bought the inferior version of Bayonetta I suppose.GTA4 ran at 630p on ps3 however there are many multiplats which ran better on ps3 despite being port eg tomb raider is 576p on x360 and 720p on ps3OH NO!!!!! now i cant go on with my day. Does anyone remember when GTA4 ran at like 540p on the ps3 and 720p on the 360??? Am I the only one that remembers that? The door swings both ways people

Same reason why more people bought the inferior version of Bayonetta I suppose. well x360 version is inferior in many ways firsly the game is on 3 DVDS has compressed audio has compressed video at 720p only is 576p also ff13 x360 version also looks very bad ...so u have to be a masochist to get an x360 version[QUOTE="Doolz2024"][QUOTE="-Snooze-"]Why get the inferior version if you have the option to get the superior version?. [QUOTE="-Snooze-"]Why get the inferior version if you have the option to get the superior version? :? Unless you just really prefer the 360 controller, I see no reason why any PS360 owner would get the game on the 360.Still getting it on the 360 though

Several reasons :
I don't feel like getting it on the PS3.
I don't game much on my PS3
Despite the secong point, the past few games i've bought have all been on PS3
I don't like FF sountracks so i can listen to my own
I can talk to my friends whilst I play (They're Xbox owners)
Also, slightly better graphics mean nothing to me, same with the sound. I wont be able to tell the difference unless i was running both, which i wont be.
Horrible truly horrible. Now all those 360 only owners out there should feel like their version of the game will be a complete disaster. Honestly this is on the same lines as the video comparisons made between multi platform titles. They are the same game, they will look very much the same (if going on only this information) and will probably play very much the same.
..
If you have both a PS3 and a 360, go PS3. If you dont have a PS3, dont sweat it, the difference is so minimal that the actual gaming experience you will recieve from the game will be exactly the same...
Saw it coming I guess. FF XIII on the 360 is pretty much a straight port of the PS3 version.clubsammich91

According to Lems, most defintely.......after all don't most Lems state specifically that every Multiplat that is even a hair behind in framerate or graphics means it's unplayable? At least I won't have to put with the multiple threads saying "look, another multiplat best on X360......PS3 games are worthless"Why get the inferior version if you have the option to get the superior version? :? graphics are not slightly better graphics on ps3 is WAY better also ps3 has 1/3 more pixels and all on 1 blu ray why get an x360 when u can play all its games on PC? i dont think u own a ps3 cuz i havent known anyone who is getting ff13 on x360[QUOTE="clubsammich91"]Saw it coming I guess. So Bayonetta, fallout 3 etc mean that the 360 is > than the PS3? I don't see how a couple of multiplats here or there really mean anything?Cell and Blu Ray aren't so funny anymore eh lems? :p

Confirm true a Screen shotLOL THATS A JOKE
They just trying to get attencion
You do realize that they're the ones who Lemmings have been using forever because they show the minor differences that favor the 360 in 90% of multiplats correct? Why get the inferior version if you have the option to get the superior version? :? Fair enough, I was just curious why you'd go for the inferior version when you have other options. You like the 360 more (as do I), so nothing wrong with buying a multiplat (even if it will be inferior) on the platform you prefer. :)several multiplats are better on ps3 eg tomb raider, ninja gaiden 2, so4,burnout, dmc infact many ran at 2x the speed on ps3 like dmc4 u have many multiplats running better on ps3. u also have several multiplats running better on x360 too However ps3 exclusives look and play better than anything on x360Thats great the ps3 version looks better, but this is one of the few times a multiplat is better on ps3.
I will be getting it on ps3 though no doubt.

They used the crystal tools which is a multiplatform engine ... The game was designed from the ground up on the PS3, then they decided to rewrite some of it to work with the xbox. It would have taken them twice as long if they were to re-create the whole game for the xbox.
Multi discs are not a problem, the problem is MS' issue with not standardizing HDD's with every Xbox 360
Still doesn't matter. For if it weren't for this thread I would've been playing it not even knowing or caring. Still see no use for Blu-Ray for me.Cell and Blu Ray aren't so funny anymore eh lems? :p

Difference is that those were ports, Bayonetta wasn't even handled by Platinum games, Sega ported it.
FF13 on 360 is running on a custom engine specifically for the 360, confirmed in an interview with Kitase.

ff13 can be installed on x360 as well However x360 isnt just powerful enough to handle a straight port of FF13--a game which is partially using a lot of potential of the ps3 it is no brainer that something which uses a lot of ps3's power cant be reproduced on x360 without compenstaions ff13 has been in development on x360 for the last 2 years.........bottom line, Sony lost. MANY gamers would have bought a PS3 to play FF13, now they don't have to. Inferior or not, Sony lost a chance to sell a lot of consoles when this went multi. It definitely delayed, if not completely nixed my reason to puy a PS3. So, I'll save my PS3 $$$$$ to blow on more 360 games
Thanks Square
Ewww... 576p... no thanks.
Planned on getting this for my PS3, and this justifies that decision. Can't imagine a reason to get this for 360 if you have a choice.

You haven't been keeping up lately. The devs themselves said that it was indeed developed as a multi-platform engine. But they had issues on the xbox360 so they decided to develop a whole new engine for the 360, from the ground up. That took them a year. The port-excuse doesn't apply here, some games take a whole year to develop from the ground up. And here they take a whole year to develop the mere engine for the 360 while the the actual game was near-finished. That doesn't sound like a port to me.[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]So Bayonetta, fallout 3 etc mean that the 360 is > than the PS3? I don't see how a couple of multiplats here or there really mean anything? fallout 3 ran at 720p on both versions however f3 looked horrible and was a port . f3 would have run at 1080p on ps3 had it been specifically made for it same goes to bayonetta..a bad port which can also be done on wii--bayo is nothing impressive ff13 x360 is not a port. it is being built on a custom made engine for x360 ff13 has alsready been downgraded for x360 to make way for lack of space on dvdsCell and Blu Ray aren't so funny anymore eh lems? :p
