hmmm, I hope they don't treat Natal as it's own console ;/ Anyways, looking good so far!

Was anybody expecting it to launch without launch games? Having launch games is kind of a given if Microsoft wants people to buy it...
Umm... okay. That's like saying I'm going to get milk with a carton to store it included! :|
D00nut
No, more like buying a milk carton with milk included! ;)

I'm going to let all of you in on a secret!! If you subtract all the new games that will be availlable for both 360 and PS3 at the PS3's launch you have a grand total of 5 exclusive titles. How can a person justify spending 600+ dollars for five titles it's simple they can't. So what if MGS4 is only for PS3 are you willing to spend 600+ bucks to play one game. 360 is going to have a price drop near the PS3 launch date. Which means you can get a 360 premium system and no less than 6 games for the same price as one PS3 unit. Plus Microsoft is going to have a HUGE wave of exclusive titles right through the holliday season and well in to next year. Yes I know they had more time to develope games for the 360. Yet games in the 360 lineup were delayed and the system shortage didn't win friends either. The fact that Sony didn't capitalize on these errors and slow down 360 sales to a manageable level is a major blow to the PS3. I'm not even going to talk about how badly the WII will damage PS3 sales. In three years time people will look back and say " Remember when Sony made the PS2 and how great it was. I wonder where it all went so very wrong ".
How right he was lol :)
[QUOTE="aaronmullan"]Good. Now lets get Sonys out, too and we could have them both fail faster.djsifer01Sonys wont fail, its alot more practical. Nah. It will. If they worked on more stuff for the SIXAXIS then I'd be interested.

How do you know if it is more practical or will be successful when you don't even know what it actually is? You can believe that crap about it coming out next spring if you want to.
If it's one thing I've learned about Sony is that they can't launch anything properly. They sure as hell better be successful, or they are screwed.
I want to see these gamesToriko42Enough is enough. Can I have a youtube link to your gif? I've been interested in it for the past few days :P
Not too excited, if I want to do motion action I will go outside and play sports, seems another gimmicky ploy by microsoft to appeal to couch potatoes who rarely see the light of day. Soon maybe they will come up with an idea to chew my food for me and wipe my butt so i can just sit stationary in front of my xbox 24/7.mrgreen108
This is exactly what some of the weirdos on this forum want, too.
If Natal launches with Halo Reach I can see the sales of it extremely high since Bungie is rumored to be interested in using the tech for Halo Reach anyway.
Its probably going to be a mini game collection sort of like Wii Sports. Microsoft wants it to be successful, so why not immitate Nintendo's approach to new control devices? Its probably going to be Ricochet and a bunch of other similar type games.

I really don't care at all for Natal. It makes the Wii Mote and PS3 Ice Cream Cone look like fun.
Rob-Belmont
you can hold an ice creame cone with Natal. lol
Of course there will be a collection of mini games that will come with Project Natal.
These will be simple demonstrations of what Natal can do at the least.
However I am sure devs like Bungie can show us how it can also work with other genres.
I'm definately hoping Natal will be an option in Halo Reach when it comes out next year.
Military command gestures in Halo Reach?? FTW
Natal is going to do poorly for so many reasons.... And when it does expect everyone to say, "Yea, no one expected it to do as well as the Wii" or "I never said it was good"
It's funny to see the cows laughing at the thought of what games we'll see..what exactly do you think is going to be supported by your magic wand? Probably shovelware as well. At least Natal can be used outside of gaming, with every feature on the dashboard and new stuff programmed for it. DeadMagazines
As far as I can see there much the same product, the eyetoy has been out for a long time and clearly does not require wands to work, im sure Natal is capable of tracking wands if they so desired.
Where did you hear sonys product will not be able to function outside of games :p

Cause it's a wand, and you need to use the wand to have any motion sensing. Even if it does somehow work outside of games, you still gotta use the silly wand.Lots of silly speculation and guess work passed off as fact as usual. Wonderful.
I wonder why natal gets so much stick. I'm happy to wait and see what games come with it. I'm not going to nock microsoft for trying to improve on the wii remote over flat out copying it like another next gen console maker.

Even if it does somehow work outside of games, you still gotta use the silly wand.the eyetoy does no require a wand, I have it on ps2, but not ps3 but you can move things on the screen just using your hands etc, the ps2 one was no natal but it does work. Check out the eyepet trailer to see wandless motion sensing on the ps3.
I have a 360 aswell so im interested in how both products turn out.
did anyone ever said that they expect natal to sell as good as the wii? :|Natal is going to do poorly for so many reasons.... And when it does expect everyone to say, "Yea, no one expected it to do as well as the Wii" or "I never said it was good"
