Anyway I'm super hyped on this game, Winning Eleven is the ****. I've been waiting for a new version, the past 3 have been practically identical. I want this series to finally take a step forward instead of sideways. Should be awesome.

As a brasilian guy once wrote on the forum of Metacritics.com with regards to Pro Evolution Soccer for PS2:

"This game is Jesus !!"

If it gets only half of the features that are listed in this post and a good online game I will need to find a new job.

FMV's and Audio take up the most space in games, game data and everything else is pretty small.

Videos and audio in games takes the most of the storage capacity.

Gamecube games always had very compressed cutscenes/videos because of the space limit (1,5GB). Voice acting were often skipped because of the storage problem.

We don't need totaly uncompressed video/audio because there is a limit where we will notice any difference between lightly compressed video/audio and uncompressed. 

Larger games = Longer load times.

How about the fact that its a known that Audio and video are the 2 largest consumers of space. Why? Because you cant really compress Audio or video without lossing quailty where as with other pieces of data can be compressed to be just a few KB to a MB. The next highest thing would be Textures and the actual model meshes.

Which basicly means its just like Resistance and so even though the size of the game on the PS3 is 18 GB it will fit comfortably on a dvd 9 since it wont have all the comentary in all the languages on one disc. They will just have to make diffrent copies for diffrent languages like usual.  Anyway dont get me wrong thats not a bad thing, I think its a great thing for developers but overal for the consumer it means nothing.
