It's not Fable 2http://community.lionhead.com/forums/thread/2803087.aspx
Too Human wouldn't really be considered first party since Silicon Knights are independent and own the IP.

Fable 2 devs confirmed that it is not cancelled.I'm hoping it's Halo Wars.OremLKHalo Wars or that Peter Jackson thing no one gives a rats ass about.

it started from a 1up podcast.
What did I miss ?
Someone please advise the news story where this cancellation speculation started.
For the record, Banjo & Fable 2 are fine and though not first party - I sure hope Too Human is too.
I wonder if the game in dire straits could be GTAIV??? Possibly something to do with the lack of a HDD in the Core model 360.... I hope not, cuz I refuse to buy a PS3 and that would leave me GTA-less!
Oh.. is it supposed to be a Microsoft published title??

The game that is getting the axe is a first party game not a third party game. GTA4 is fine, my guess would be the Halo project with peter jackson which i couldnt care less about.
Do people even care about Alan Wake... c'mon, be real.ExilRockJust because YOU don't, doesn't mean that others aren't hyped for it.
watch it be gears of war 2htekemerald
Who in their right mind would ever cancel a sequel guaranteed to make a ton of money? :|
Aside from the fact this game is being made by the developers of Max Payne, here's some other reasons why anyone with an Xbox 360 or Windows Vista PC should care about the game.

Remedy has four main design goals with Alan Wake:
1) Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller.
2) Alan Wake introduces lighting as a new field in game mechanics.
3) Alan Wake has a cinematic story that takes place in a vast, open-ended environment.
4) Alan Wake is a game that has to earn 90+ scores.
"First three of the goals have never been attempted anywhere in the form that we're aiming at" according to Alan Wake's producer Lasse Seppänen. "The final item, quality, is still the most important. Nothing else matters unless we can put together an excellent game."
Lasse Seppänen, producer on Alan Wake, says quality is priority number one in the production of Alan Wake. "We're not tied to a schedule, we don't have to aim at a monolithic release date. If we can make a better game by giving it more time, that's the way we'll go. That doesn't mean, however, that we'd mean to be working on Alan Wake five years from now."

This is one of those games that can go either way.. I'm hoping it will be Superb..
If it's Peter Jackson's Halo Project, then it's alright.
We don't know much about it at all, so yeah...
Well, that is certainly good news. You know, after all of the speculation and narrowing down the past couple of days, I am really starting to believe that this guy from 1up may be full of it. Afterall, no other major sites have said anything to support this rumor....not a peep. You would think that GS, IGN or somebody else besides this cat over at 1up would have gotten word up on this by now if there was any validity to it.
I swear, sometimes the industry treats us gamers like we are mushrooms that they are trying to grow....they feed us a bunch of bs, and keep us in the dark.
