This is the first thing that came to mind when I read his post. By the way people make too much of a big deal about the whole sub-hd issue. If it looks good it looks good whether it's "sub-hd" or not.

razor sharp shadows, framerate dropping as low as 10fps, flat textures. Naw i wouldnt call it a looker

They do make the game. Games are composed of gameplay, graphics and audio. It's an interactive audio-visual experience. All parts are equally important. I never understood this , "if the game is fun the other parts don't matter." Do you guys just mute the television? Do you close your eyes and use your imagination? What do you do?

Graphics helped games like Crysis and games like Okami. Graphics helped games like The Wind Waker and Gears of War. Graphics will help games like El Shaddai and Rage. While I understand not taking these comments about sub-HD seriously, or resolutions or what have you, I hate the argument that graphics don't matter. They most certainly do.

I think TC meant graphical contenders.

AndWE so called "PC elitest" thought that 360 users didn't bother with graphics cause whenever someone pointed out multiplat looks better on PC. We got response from lems as " meh it's the same game, we don't care about graphics ".

Anyways, good job with GeoW 3 :P

its true seriously people who piss and moan about pixels on CONSOLE games are idiots, I mean unless it looks like total garbage which is only a few cases, but If people want to be grahics buffs and junkies I dont understand why they dont just PC game and build rigs that actually have graphics worth beeting your chest over.

Hey man i'm playing Vanquish right now :D, looks really nice to me, how can people really tell this stuff when they're just having a good time playing. It seems all the games I like the look of people just rip into here, I liked the look of Batman AA for example.

Ok it is a graphics thread, but at this point no console game impresses that much we need graphics king threads. It's funny 360 and PS3 gamers fighting over graphics, because their consoles are almost the same to me bar a few exclusives. And no exclusive on either has impressed me over the other.

Gears of War 1 & 2 were also at Native 720p, as well as games like Forza 2 & 3, Halo Wars & Crackdown. Plus not to mention most multiplatform games.

Pretty much this. There's lots of great looking sub HD games and I could never tell the difference between 720 and 1080 just by looking at them.
