If it flops I will literally post a 100 threads saying Crysis Flop on the PC forums. lol!! :lol:

I don't think it'll flop, but I also do think it'll be a "AAA" title either. Graphics isn't the only thing that makes a game great. PC fanatics needs to realize this. I'm sure they will once Crysis is released.

as usual lemmings think one game will save them . the fact is no one game will make them win the console war. the playstation brand has multiple games that will attract people(ratchet, MGS4, DMC4 etc...). the fps genre is something the xboox brand is better at attracting because of the windows roots in pc gaming and the similarity to the pc architecture but  overall the playstation 3 has more games in more genres which will help it gain on the xbox brand. lemmings need to realize that although they may have very good games the lack of variety is what is holding back the system for instance beside the banzo sequal they have no quality pltformers annonced for their system while sony has the ratchet series which is aa to aaa not to mention LBP and naughty dog will most likely be making  new platformer in the near future maybe of the jak and daxter series or something brand new(not to mention nintendo has the god of platformer mario). the xbox brand has very good games but its lack of variety is whats stopping it from taking a signifigant lead in th console race race already we see the effect of bringing new ideas to the table which is what is fueling wii sales, what happens when sony starts to diversify??? which is already starting to happen with the development of next gen ratchet as well as LBP and games like heavenly sword and  games like eioght days.


Ms lack of variety is wasting the year head start they have had and very soon we will see both the wii and ps3 catch and surpass the 360 in sales I guarentee it. by mid 2008 and early 2009 both the wii and ps3 will pass the 360 in worlwide sales it is simply a matter of appealing to the laregest audience poosible which it is not doing althought their library is good it is not diverse enough to compete with sony and nintendo.

XBox 360 does have a diverse library. PS3 really doesn't even have decent library yet. Most of theire titles have already been played on other systems and are sequels. Right now there is nothing fresh and new on the PS3. At least the Wii has some innovation to fall back on. My main problem with the Wii is will developers start to support it better then they did the Wii? With the huge number of Wii consoles in gamers homes, they should. The only way the PS3 is going to catch the Wii and XBox 360 by mid 2008 is if they drop their PS3 price down by $200. Yes great games like Heavenly Sword and MGS4 will help the Sony sell a few more PS3's, but so will Halo 3 & Forza 2 for the XBox 360. I've seen gaming console trends since the Atari 2600 was released. Right now Sony is trying to get out of their negative stereotype. They'll have a great chance to do this at the next E3 (or whatever it's called). What original games will they show?: Only time will tell.
