Well I know 360 and PS3 is HD but not Wii, and I think PC may not be either but don't quote me. Either way, 360 or PS3 is your safest surefire bet to HIGH RES gaming which is sweet! 8)oldskooler79Now this guy is serious. :|
High definition is any resolution above 720x720. HDTVs traditionally come ine resolutions of 1280x720, 1920x1080, and 1366x768, though all display images at 720p/1080i or 1080p. PCs have technically been doing HD since the first monitor surpassed 720x720, which was 1024x768 well over a decade ago. Even 800x600 could technically be considered HD, or much superior to the 720x480 resolutions of NTSC SDTVs

The only game he has rated on GSis STALKER, according to his profile. From his posting history, he always comes across like a pc gamer to me. Trust me, he's just joking. He got pretty heavily into the UC vs UT debate the other day.
Ill stick to consoles, better single player games imo.-Sora
only in your mind, x360 just had to take yet another pc game to get a half decent single player game, in the form of coj. gears is what 8-10 hours? and thats about the only decent single player game on x360 thats not on pc, what about hl2, farcry etc? games 360 fans have always wanted and still want hl2 3 years later and hl2 is only single player
I've realised that this site is popular for PC Gamers because the sig feature is big enough for them to post their silly system specs, which go out of date every week.wok7
I can tell you one thing, that that ps2 in your sig is way more out of date than any bit in my computer. even x360 is out of date if compare it to a $600 pc today. there may be new part but that doesn't mean you have to buy them. there is not one game out there than wont run on 2004's top card the gf 6800. what about the fact that the 360 version of coj had to be DOWNGRADED form the pc version which came out 6 months ago? that tells you something about console hardware

I think the real point was that nobody gives a crap about your PC specs, why do you feel the need to flood every thread with them. It's one thing to have a sig that shows you're a PC gamer, another to brag about whats in it.
As to the original question I am both, my first console was a Sega Master System, first PC a C64. Play my PC more right now due to that stupid WoW and Civ4 mostly.

People put their PC spec in their sig so that they don't have to post everytime it is ask.
And I'm PC gamer, console gaming cost almost the same as PC gaming here
I play games I want to play. Some of those games are on PC and some are on consoles. So both.Sir_Graham

When did he brag about it? All he did was respond to another silly poster who made a way overused "teh upgrades every week!" comment about PC components. I have my PC in my sig too. Why not? You see, people who don't own rig's just don't get it. Us Hermits treat our PC's like car enthusiasts treat their cars ; like their babies. We take a lot of pride in our build.Sorry, but I don't get the same feeling for my 360, though I still enjoy it a lot.

That other guy that said PC's can't do HD in this thread was joking (I've seen him post before, he's a PC gamer I believe). But this guy, I don't know........
I have really gotten into PC gaming, though I still love playing some consoles. I've played a 360, yet I still do not own one. I will be getting a 360 for Banjo-Threeie and GTA series primarily. While I'm at it, I'll get several more games to keep myself entertained.
My Xbox 360 sits right beside my PC. I play them on the same desk, use the same chair and same monitor for both :) And I switch between them all the time. e.g., yesterday I got home to play some Shadowrun, then went online with a friend for Forza 2 with my wheel (which takes about 30 seconds to set up), and then when I realized the time, I switched to my PC to get ready for our CS:Source CAL match... which we won. woot
I started off playing both PC games and console games, though around the days of SNES I would play a lot more console, and around the PS2 era I played almost exclusively PC. Right now is a great mix, since there are great games on both platforms I own.

I use the exact same setup. It gets annoying switching the cables, but every KVM box I've tried makes the image ghost, so it's my only option. It's still nice to be able to switch platforms so easily now, though.
Mostly a console gamer, though I don't think I could ever be 100% free of PC gaming.
I tried to get into PC gaming more, but I just hate kb/m too much.

I coooould be considered both, about 75% im playing console games, the rest I play PC games.P.S.-Whats point are you trying to make?T_T The first Half Life was on PS2...second was on Xbox, and going to 360 and PS3.The "PC has higher standards for storys in FPS",or "Consoles games has better storys than PC games" arguement is stupid on both ends.O.o Both have good games with good storys and crappy games with crappy storys.
