Console gamer want simple easy games?

Do console gamers like simple easy games?

Limited time means limited time for games so are easier shorter games the answer?

Some do,some don't.

I think PC gamers like even simplier games, you know, with all those Flash games that onlu use the space bar.

What kind of games one wants to play isn't solely decided by the platform they own.

I think its more about easy trophies/achievements now :P

I think its just a way for pcgamers to continuously bash consoles..Always looking for something I guess..

yes, i want games where all i have to do is continuosly mash the "A" button. Then i want to get 50000gamerscore for completing said game, and if i dont get what i want i am going to throw my toys out of the pram and have a hissy fit. :roll:

its true. i can only manage simple games.

i would so love to be a PC gamer and play very complexed games that give me an overwhelming sense of smugness and self gratification. i wish i could spend hours reading manuals and learning which little icon to click on in the right order to make me more complete gamer.

Who wants games so complicated that it takes all the fun away? Gamers want games that are accessible, not simple, yet fun.

Their is nothing simpler or easier than solitare or minesweeper...and those come preloaded on any Windows PC...

I think both groups of gamers hate games being too easy (as comapred to the good old 90s). However I have noticed that pc gamers tend to be more critical when it comes to a game's difficulty. Perhaps its because mouse and KB make shooters substantially easier to their console counterparts (eg SC:C) or maybe its because since pc gamers tend to be older than console gamers they are more experienced gamers. Or maybe its because pc gamers can easily alt+tab and rage on a game :P

No not really.
However the markets are very different.

Console games are more complex than they have ever been in terms of technicalities and in quite a few instances - game design. PC games on the other hand have a strong legacy of complexity in games, which is still present today - however in an era of multiplat Triple A games, mainstream big budget titles for most of the part plateaued.

There isn't Demon's Souls and Ninja Gaiden on the PC.

There isn't Dwarf Fortress and ArmA on consoles.

I want fun games.
