"WarDevil: Unleash the Beast Within is an fantasyaction-adventurevideo game currently in production by CGI and games development company Digi-Guys, exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It was originally planned to be released for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but the Xbox 360 version was cancelled in order to focus on one platform.[1] As of August 2008, Digi-Guys has confirmed that WarDevil is still in production, and that new information on the project will be released before the end of the year."

The game uses a new and sophisticated gaming engine called RTE1080 (real time engine). The WarDevil RTE1080 Engine has been developed by Digi-Guys to realize the graphical depth and complexity that's required for the WarDevil game. The RTE1080 is designed to work in 1920x1080 HD and run at 60 fps, to create a visual ****that surpasses the look and feel of pre-rendered FMV sequences.

Players will assume the role of the mysterious WarDevil, traveling through what appears to be a post-apocalyptic world. The game designers said to expect levels in such places as ruined wastelands, desert strongholds, ruined hotels, huge bars and military bases."

don't be so sure with the promised 1080p NATIVE and 60fps..it will most likely be upscaled..even if it does pull it off, be ready for some of the worst textures you've seen. the hardware just isn't good enough to have that all including the best graphics.

its just PR bs to hype the game.

Erm, don't you think you better wait until its released and we actually get to see true gameplay? Don't get me wrong, the thought of playing a good game on my PS3 in true 1080p sounds great but i heard all this crap before.

these company's love guys like you. Even when the game is released and looks nothing like that you'll still insist it does. I remember the early Crysis videos and screens that claimed to be actual ingame footage. Although its still an amazing looking game mine looks nothing like those early vids. They were true real time shots however, just examples of what cryengine can do or will do in years to come. This is probably the same thing.

like i said, lets wait and see. Do you really want to end up looking as silly as all those who used to post early GeoW, Halo 3 and crysis vids and screens? Until we see a genuine preview by a reputable source actually played on a PS3 its nothing but PR and bullshots imho.
