Console only gamers which ecosystem do you spend most your money and time in?

3DS.

I got more games on 3DS than anything else combined. I've also played on my 3DS for thousands of hours. Simply put it's where the games are for me.

At the time I was console only, it was PS4 this generation, and X360 last gen.

Though now it's PC for me.

I still use my PS3 more than any of the newer consoles tbh

3DS gets all my moneys. Then Wii U and PC.

I have a PS4 and a PC but I only buy PC games on sales. Lately I bought a couple of PS4 games but this Summer Sale I bought 40 games for my Steam account. It's kind of a tie for me.

PS4, but not because it's the most powerful gaming console......

Because PlayStation Vue kicks ass! I don't have cable or satellite and never will again. I had SlingTV before and liked it, but it wasn't nearly as good as Vue.

And I also rent movies from the PS Store, its cheaper than the Video Store (Yup my town still has one) and prices are comparable to redbox.

All that plus Netflix and Youtube apps, I hardly ever turn on my PC or Macbook.

Xbox One, cause I like playing on it and it's the system my brother and I play online together with.

Vita has been impressing me lately (I just got it), and I've been using that a lot more lately.

XB1... but it has nothing to do with being the cheaper console. I prefer the exclusives and the controller mainly.

I've owned my 3DS and Wii U far longer than my Xbone, so I've definitely put more into Nintendo this gen.

Between the 3DS and Wii U though? I don't know. I have more games on the 3DS than Wii U, but retail 3DS games are cheaper than most Wii U retail games, and while there were games I put a good amount of time on the 3DS (Kid Icarus Uprising, FE Awakening, Link Between Worlds come to mind, probably are other examples) lord knows I put alot of time into a good amount of Wii U games as well (XCX, Splatoon, Shovel Knight, DK Tropical Freeze, Mario 3D World)

Not trying to be the full manticore here, but I go through varying stages on the consoles and use each of them about equally.

I just got done with The Witcher 3 and Halo Reach on my Xbox One and now I'm playing Halo 5. Earlier in the year I was so devoted to Bloodborne and Uncharted 4. And my Wii U gets constant attention from Smash, and soon I'll start playing Yoshi's Wooly World on it.

# PS4 is where most of my time is spent, because it's the platform that has the games I enjoy the most. Uncharted, Destiny, Grand Kingdom, Disgaea etc...My Xbox One is mainly used as a Halo machine, Halo is easily my favorite FPS game of all time, but that is all my Xbox One is used for nowadays, Ori and the Blind Forest was another great game on there. Even though most of my time is spent on the PS4, most of my money goes to Nintendo. My kids and wife all have 3DS's and our Wii U is the most used console in our house. Having to buy 4 copies of some of the 3DS games gets expensive lol.

Although I grew up in a multi-console household, my first console purchased with my own money was the original Xbox with a copy of Halo and PGR 1. I would buy a PS2 and GC a few months later, both at the same time in fact, but the Xbox was my lead.

Wii U for me. The exclusives are just too good to pass up. I recently picked up a Xbox One S though. It'll be my 3rd party box and I enjoy the exclusives.

I'm always on PC. If I want to play on my PS4 or Wii U I just hook it up to my second monitor.

Ps4, I've owned every playstation so continuing the trend, also like others have said with their respective systems I like the exclusives

Xbox Live. More close friends, I have more games on it. I have a few of my 360 games that I still love playing on it, Plenty of current gen games on it, best MP FPS of the gen in Halo 5, Best racer for my occasional racing itch in FH2, occasional fighting itch is met by Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive is my favorite open world 3rd person game this gen.

It's a ridiculous thread with a poll that completely contradicts the subject line. I know the modern 'thing to do' is congratulate people for being really stupid and even champion them for it but I haven't quite got the hang of that just yet, you'll just have to bear with me.

right now it's the XB1 but only because i find the games better. I'm hoping at some point it switches up because I'd like to get more use form my PS4. maybe when horizon zero dawn comes out? The rest of 2016 is going be all xb1 though with Gears 4 and DR4 being the main 2 games i want this year

Because I've always preferred the Xbox family since the OG Xbox. I've always preferred the Western Centric games and genres it carried. Better controllers, better online service. I like the convenience of external HDD support.

I spend the most money and time on my Xbox One because: 1:) Most of my online gaming is done on Xbox Live since it is the best online service. 2:) I often use the Xbox One's media apps and features. 3:) It is my console of choice for multiplats due to it's superior controller, online service, and features.

I also use my Wii U a lot because: 1:) Most of my favorite games from this gen have been Wii U exclusives. 2:) It's the one system that has many games that my casual gamer girlfriend is willing to play with me. 3:) With the Wii U's backwards compatibility, Virtual Console, and homebrew scene; I'm also able to play games from the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Gamecube, Wii, GBA, and DS all on this one system and I love that because I love retro gaming.

My PS4 comes in at a distant 3rd (actually 4th because I still use my Xbox 360 more than it as well). My PS4 is only used for a handful of exclusives, all of which have been single player games, so I'll play my PS4 for a few weeks and then once I finish the game, my PS4 sometimes doesn't get turned on again for many months until I get a new exclusive game for it.

Xbox One, better online, better controller, better OS and UI, better system to be all digital on, and it has the exclusives I want while I'm still waiting for Sony to deliver more than just promises in the PS4.

Does XB1 even count anymore? It's simply a Xbox ecosystem at this point which includes PC.

If i had to choose a console id have to go with PS4 because of all of the remasters i get to play that i either didnt play last gen, or stopped playing because of performance.

This gen to me has been the most disappointing. I could forgive them the first year or so but it hasn't improved. So disappointed in fact that I did something I swore I'd never do , I bought a gaming PC. It is more work than a console I admit that but the difference in graphics and gameplay is so significant I don't know if I'll buy a console again. Ps4 exclusives this gen aren't my thing im just not into uncharted and it looks like the big Xbox games are going to PC for now on. Idk if it's because my PC is so powerful or what but 8 year old PC games look better than current gen games.

I spread the money evenly between all ( including 3 DS ), I don't have a favorite, handhelds get a lot of use for a simple reason, I can carry them with me and can play while on transit from my home to my work and viceversa.

Although I haven't played it much recently, my Wii U has the largest collection of games this gen for consoles.

Street Fighter V has taken over since it's release.

So I've spent most money on Wii U. It's hard to say which between these two have devoured most of my time at this point.

I spend the majority of my money in the Xbox ecosystem, due to the better games, better console, better controller and better online service. I spend a ton of money on the games, indie and retail, as well as the Xbox movie rentals, accessories, DLC and XBL subscriptions.
