I honestly think if it were a straigh up camparison the PS3 would have won a long time ago, but he gave a couple of rounds to the 360 just for show, you know build up hype etc.

I mean seriously though, who really though the 360 would win? He just tried to be politically correct, if he were 100% honest the 360 would only win multiplats and online experience. That's it.

Evidence 1. Controller... Any rational person knows the Dualshock 3 is of much higher quality, from the sixaxis support, to push sensitive buttons, to recharable out of the box, to a waaaay better d pad, less dead zone in the analogs... I mean I understand some people may prefer the 360 design or something, but from a neutral unbiased universal pov the Dualshock wins...

This is actually quite a great comparison with the two consoles.

Also battery packs vs built in recharchable batteries both have pro/cons, regardless it is a fact that the 360 is more flexible when it comes to this, you can't change a dead battery easily from a ps3 controller. The only plus is it comes with one, but you can stick with batteries if you don't like being tied to the console while its charging or use a rechargable battery, which is $10 for 360. Its easy to replace 360 batteries.

The only thing the ps3 really has over 360 now is bluray, it turns into a better media hub for you living room, but only slightly, other than that 360 is overall a better gaming experience from online to single player. Plus all of the sub par multiplats on the ps3 really diminish the experience, I know its not tons but there are noticable difference in games like RDR and than games like bayonetta come out...

Ok I think I can speak for all when I say that DS3 is better at everything except for eurgonomics and maybe the analog sticks but those are both opinion.

Ever wonder why Xbox 360 vs PS3 controller threads always deal with aesthetics and analog placement? I think the whole world has already agreed on the fact that rechargeable batteries and push sensitive buttons are good things. The only thing the 360 has over the DS3 is actual triggers.

they are comparing 2 consoles with about the same demographic, i would rather see a battle between the wii vs ps3 vs xbox360

but apperently the wii isnt hardcore enough

there are alot of dated info in Round 11 ( thr future)

1- it's based on natal VS Move ............ and Natal WON !!! (dun ask me how, but i can excuse them, the video was done on May, and they didn't see it on E3 otherwise their opinion would completely change).

2- PSN+ was mentioned but wasn't confirmedat that time so, that's another thing to add to the formula.

3- 3D was also mentioned but they thoughtitwould be a next generation application, again Sony proved that 3D gaming will be a key pillarfor the PS3 in the next few years, and even better, it's cheap to adapt in games not as coslty as was thought.

4-Live VS PSN ......... thought this point had been discussed in the online war !!!

Are you trying to fit like 5 fingers in there? I havent heard anyone except in threads like these complaining about that.

I thought the comparison was very fair and thurough. He gave the catagorys the 360 derserved to win the win, and the catagorys the PS3 derseved to win to win. 360 won the multipaltform catagory, which it should. PS3won the Exclusives catagory, which IMO it should. and so on. He acknowledged the biggest faults of each syestems, and he thought the PS3 had the least of the two. The series was tied up unitl the round, so really it was anyones game to win. And according to this guy, he thinks the PS3 is more bang for your buck then the 360, which is kinda hard to argue considering Bluray adn all that. But really, like he said, you should own both.

I like the 360 purely because of the thumbstick placement nothing else, everyone has there own preferences.

DS3 has press sensitive buttons and rechargeable batteries (FACT)...

360 controllers have better analog placement (OPINION)...
