Convince me not to sell my Wii... for a PS3

Here is the deal:

1. I have a PC and 360

2. I definitly want a PS3 to play the load of new games being released for it, and the ones that are already out.

3. My Wii is collecting dust, and I can probably sell it along with a Wii Fit for at least $200... which would almost get my the PS3 for free

As such... I want you to try your hardest to convince me not to sell it.

Rules:

Show me the Top 5 upcoming titles that could change my mind to keep it.

By Friday, if you haven't convinced me. I will put it on Ebay, and will link with proof that I was serious.

If theres a Wii game that looks awesome, you can't buy it because you sold your Wii. Picture that. PS3 is definitely a must buy though when you get enough cash

Thats reason enough. If you dont play it regularly or like its library chances are you wont in the future.

Why would anybody want to do that? Seriously, why would anybody care if you sell it or not? If you said "Convince me and I will keep my Wii and buy you the PS3 instead" then it would be somehow interesting. But this? I'll pass.

Just put it on Ebay already... if you were interested on upcoming Wii games, you wouldn't need to be convinced by others. :roll:

There's a fine line between being a loyal consumer, and a blind consumer. The latter is achieved if you keep your Wii.

Sell your wii now, while the value still holds. Sheesh just get a ps3 already, clearly your mind is telling you that you want it but is afraid to make the move and want others encouragement/assurance, yaddah. Personally I dont even play with either of my three. I just use one as a movie, therefore PS3>other two and PC gaming OWNS ALL.

Hey man, I know how you feel, but there's no point on having a console collecting dust just because you wanna remain loyal to a company that don't give a flying **** about you.

I've had pretty much every Nintendo console out there, except the Wii and the DS and I don't regret not having them because if I did, it would be also collecting dust, just like yours.

Make decisions for yourself, TC. Grow up.

1. Anyone who wants to be convinced NOT to sell a system, is instead looking for support for the decision they have already made to sell the system.

2. If you sell the system there is a very high chance as some point in the next few year you will think to yourself, "Wow I wish I had kept my Wii for that".

3. If you are really not going to play your Wii, just sell it, don't waffle about it.

First you have to convince me to care about what consoles you own.

I think you should just do it now and don't waste anymore time. You need to catch up on a lot of great games because there is a ton a great stuff coming out the next few months

Why? You obviously didn't pick the console that's for you, and if you need convincing otherwise, then you should know it wasn't the right console to purchase.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, No More Heroes 2, Sin & Punishment 2, Red Steel 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Graces... If none of these are your cup of tea, then the Wii isn't for you.

God, by all means do it.

Go with the concensus in here, sell your Wii and buy more 360 games. Forza 3 will rule October...

If I were you, I would keep your Wii due to the aforementioned games that will be coming out within the next year or so. You can't deny the quality in most of those titles.

I think that instead of selling the Wii, you should sell your 360. The Wii has many exclusives that you won't find anywhere else. The 360 and the PS3, on the other hand, are pretty much the same console. However, the PS3 beats the 360 (IMO) because of the exclusives and Blu-Ray.

Monster Hunter Tri is a good reason to keep it. The game looks ridiculously good...

Go ahead and sell it, I love seeing people get less than what they payed for because they werent smart enough to do research before they made a purchase.

Damn Disgaea is a nightmare for me... I think of myself as a completionist and Disgaea has so much to do that it's one of those games that I really love but hate because I just can't get 100%, so I'm stuck for a lot of time with it.

Have 280+ hrs in Disgaea 2 and haven't beat it yet!! :cry:
