They have a LOT to do in order for the series to redeem itself in my eyes after the half-baked mess that was KOTOR II.Verge_6And coming out with an MMO isn't one of those things.

Yeah, chances were pretty much shot from the very beginning. Come ON Bioware...THINK.
If they did an MMO you'd lose everything that made KOTOR...well KOTOR. I'd just be another galaxies rip. You wouldn't have the object permenance and the dialogue tree, the combat wouldn't be the same, the amazing story would be gone...Vandalvideo
Oh, the story could still be there. It'd just be reduced to a bunch of item-driven quests, and it will forever remain unresolved, that's all.

What was wrong with 2? I saw no major flaws.
But yeah, this is a great move towards killing the goodness that was KotoR.

Where to start...
1) The annoying emphasis on neutrality
2) The classic good and evil conflict was nowhere to be found, with Darth Nihilus being the only real 'bad' guy
3) An abundance of plot holes and loose ends that are NEVER resolved

That was not Obsidians fault, Lucas Arts made them release it before it was completely finished. Good game still, but would have been better if it wasn't for Lucas Arts forcing them to release it.

Darth Nihilus ended up being such a wuss. I killed him so easily and I expected him to the big boss, but noooo. Hell, I didn't even get to wear his mask!
isn't a kotor MMO basicly Starwars galaxy without SOE to screw it up :| ?Prid3r
Possibly. Galaxies had sooooo much potential and they completely blew it. I played it at launch, and played it for almost a year, and gave up. So many gripes, so many flaws. I mean, no ambient music while you are running across Tatooine? Everywhere you GO in EverQuest there was at least ambient music! And thats just a MINOR gripe. But, there is potential in KOTOR, as well, but no way to tell until we find out more. :(
