Could Microsoft be hiding something?

I say this without any cold hard facts, but hear me out.

Ever since both consoles were revealed to the public, the PS4 appears to be superior to the xbox ONE in every way imagineable.

- The specs are superior on the PS4.

- The PS4 is smaller than the xbox ONE.

- The xbox ONE has manufacturing issues.

- The PS4's controller is superior to the xbox ONE's controller as stated by BF4 dev and journalists who have tried both controllers.

- Microsoft has no AAA franchise anymore.

- Halo will most likely fall from AA to A status by the end of this gen.

- PS4 will likely attain PS2-level marketshare.

Everything appears to be in SONY's favor next-gen, but I just can not fathom how Microsoft, who makes $22 billion in annual profits and has $80 billion in liquid assets, could have screwed up this badly.

You know the saying, "If something is too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true"? Let's hope the 8 TF GPU and 64 core CPU monster rumors are true.

Xbox One has manufacturing issues? Whatever this means. I'm sure my pre-order will be met and I'll be gaming on day one.

Controller preference is just that, whatever you prefer, so meh.

Lets wait and see what 343 does with its second Halo game. Halo 4 SP was great. MP was polished but some players felt there were too many non Halo gameplay elements.

As far as marketshare, PS4 definitely has an advantage early.

Basically it really is too soon to tell or know anything for sure.

games aren't hardware. the hardware only got fixed if you went out and bought a new 360 because microsoft would NEVER give you back a model superior to your own if you handed it in for repairs. Therefore, RROD is still very much a threat for anyone who never bought a 360s or slim. In short, no, you can't compare these 2 arguments.

That is spending more electricity than need it by having 2 devices doing the work 1 device should do.

Kinect is another problems it was failed gimmick,so why revive it again,this could be do to MS believe that they could hit a wii with the xbox one.

Then comes the lack of power,they saw how the wii won with basically xbox level graphics from 2001,and they tough that having extra powerful hardware wasn't need it.

Don't be mistaken sony made that mistake to,but on sony side they did not took it to the extreme.

Then come the horrible policies done to push DRM into every one,and now every damn thing the xbox one does is hidden under a damn pay wall,xbox live grow stale while actually PSN went ahead which is incredible..

Is not a total loss they will sell units,but i don't see MS selling 78 million units with the xbox one.

There are more account actually stolen and money spend on xbox live than on PS3 and has been like this for years,no credit card sh** was loss not law suits,every one was put on a 1 million dollar per costumer ensurance,nothing happen.

The worst thing that happen to sony was been less than a month without online play,and because sony took down their servers.

Xbox live has been plague by pirates since early 2006,and there are news about stolen account almost as old,in fact an attack was even blame on Bungie own site,which MS was fast to deny.

Come on the PS2 and PS1 were never ever as bad as the xbox 360,there were more voices of RROD than for DRE which also the original xbox suffer and the PS2,and the PS1 suffer from over heat,which caused FMV so skip it was about it.

The fact is the xbox 360 was the only console with higher than 50% fail rate.

I just think it's incredible that SONY was able to triumph over Microsoft despite its recent financial plight.

I think that Microsoft IS hiding something big and we'll see the true specs of the xbox ONE revealed at HotChips. Microsoft spent $3 billion on R&D and I don't think they wasted that on an AMD 7770.

Hopefully, we get 8 GB of DDR3 RAM + 4 GB of 500 GB/s bandwidth RAM and an AMD 98xx type GPU for an effective performance of 8.9 TF. MisterXMedia and his friends did the calculations and it look right so far.

3. I doubt it. The PS2 is the world's highest selling console. It would be a miracle for the PS4 to succeed on that level.
