I wanted to ask I was looking at videos from Microsoft where Windows 10 can change inputs depending on how you interact with the PC or Phone, for example of this is when How Joe from MS uses a tablet UI and when docked or plugged in with a mouse and keyboard it uses continuum to change to a desktop UI. I thinking how this could apply to the next Xbox Console (If there is any consoles left at all) where you use a controller, the game or app adapts to a more controller friendly UI, when you plug in a mouse and keyboard it changes to a more desktop friendly UI, an example of this is Minecraft Windows 10 Edition that was recently accounted, where it can change between a controller UI, a touch UI for phones and tablets and a desktop UI for PCs.

So essentially this could become MS's gaming PC and a console for the consumer but priced effectively.

What do you think, could the next Xbox be a PC/Controller hybrid device?

People already hate windows 8 and windows phone OS.

Console gamers don't want anything to do with PC trust me I know them, they hate PC especially the new ones on windows 8 don't even mention windows phone to them.

They don't want it and what happens when you shove stuff down consumers throats? they dont buy it same thing happened to windows 8 pc's people didn't buy them they didn't upgrade to it, and they certainly probably ps4 since thats more traditional ps3 styled OS and not anything like PC.

yes windows 8 and windows 10 are practically the same crap that ppl hate. People testing still telling its buggy bloated and still friendly to tablets/phones

windows 10 is the not answer its a newer version of windows 8.1 its not welcome in gaming world, people want windows 7 they want that environment imo.

Microsoft don't need the xbox brand to get Windows 10 into the living room. Steam boxes serve that end.

@ProtossX: If people don't like Windows 10, then why are people and especially gamers embracing Windows 10 then? Why are 79% businesses planning to upgrade to Windows 10 in the next 2 years? These questions are those you should answer.

Technically Windows 10 is in the living room which is basically the Xbox One, but of course it doesn't need the Xbox brand to get to the living room, but MS probably wants to use xbox to get into the living room

@ProtossX: The reason why gamers are not using it is because it's not released yet.......... it's pretty logical and doesn't require high intelligence to know this

some of the steam machines have windows versions or can be bought with both SteamOS and Windows for dual booting, Either way you can just buy a copy of windows.

@playharderfool: How can I be a shill?, I'm just a person who is more techy based than a gamer, that doesn't mean I'm a shill.
