Look at the textures on the gun barrel, they're hideous.Grass Pffft Ugly. That shurbbery is flat as all hell. And look at that dead guy in the back, it looks so ugly and dark.. Game looks hideous Pfft.

omg why are people so obsessed over "OMG THE TEXTURES LOOKS AWEFUL" when i can pick out so many games hat have awful textures. Uncharted 2 has awful textures as well, a few textures taken out of context of the whole presentation doesn't effect the way the game looks. anyways...AlphaJC

What im saying is that people shouldn't get so butthurt over some pics becasue 1. The game doesn;t come out till next year and 2. Most games have bad textures, about 90 percent of games this gen have bad textures, but the textures isnt the only ingredient in the graphis department, you have use of lighting post processing all that stuff. Its a console game thats unfinished its going to have bad textures.

i didnt single YOU out as being butthurt i was reffereing to everyone on hear going "meh nasty textures meh" yes its your guys opinion but come now its still about a year away from release, don't understand why people are so concerend with graphics as they have to go "ewwwww" look at that little gun texture and look at that plcaeholder texture right there eewww, makes me really hate gaming sometimes, people like to nickpick at everything.

I'm sure they'll improve it some before it drops...but at the moment it's pugfugly.

Epic shoud hold from releasing pics of Gears 3 until it looks pretty decent because quite honestly it looks horrible right now. I understand they want to start the hype early but these pics do not help, please no more pre-alpha images!

Not sure I like the cartoony uncharted look their going for, seems inconsistent with the first two games.

Gears of War 1 on the PC looks much better than that of course it looks better than any console game.

That looks like medium to low settings on Gears of War PC.
