Cows and their silly graphics... desperation at its finest....

Remember last gen when Dead or Alive 3 (an XBOX launch/near launch title) floored every single PS2 game in the graphics department from that point foreward...? XBOX owners got stuck with the watered down ports when their console was capable of more power (imagine how good GTA could've looked if developed on an XBOX).... Well, see, 360 and PS3 don't have that much dividing them and no Uncharted and UT are not the graphics king universaly like Gears still is and dispite what you cows claim...

the thing about the Xbox was that it was inherently superior to the ps2. Hands down there was never any competition in terms of power that gen.

This gen however, there is major contention between cows and lemmings regarding whose console is more powerful. Cows spew fact sheets, lemmings spew gears of war screenshots, then cows say "buh buh buh just wait!!" and it keeps going like this because the two consoles are very closely matched right now.

UTIII has texture pop-in, lots of aliasing, and some pretty bland textures. It's not as good as Gears. This is on PC and consoles.

COD4 is also not better than Gears. It has sloppy textures and some shoddy character animations.

Sheep have said "PS3 tries to do graphics best, but 360 does it better!"

It's because the sheep and lemmings have some sort of alliance against the ps3. I've explained that I'm defending the ps3 for now partially because of that.

Errr.. the PC version only has a tad of that, I haven't played ps3 version, but I've heard it's a tad better. On the PC the most I get is the first 5 seconds I'm playing a game the textures won't be rendered fully, but afterwards it looks great. Considering the epic size of the maps in ut3 versus the small corridors in Gears(I've played it), it does a very good job, and looks just as good, if not better. I look at gears textures(the boxes, etc) and they're relatively bland, you just don't look at them because, well, same as UT3, you're playing the game.

When lemmings were hyping halo 3 they hyped the graphics, gameplay and multiple features of the game

when sheep hype SSBB or SMG they hyped the gameplay and the features and maybe graphics sometimes

When cows hype games they say graphics this graphics that and nothing else.

Umm the scores and the sales say that the games are better. Ps3 gets flops and gimped multiplats while I do agree that wii has its fare share of shovelware its hyped games have all lived up to or excedded expectations unlike ps3 games who either flop or barley meet hype. yeah just like every othergame... thats normal. because its hard to argue what has better gameplay but its easy to judge graphics and say what is better. and most of the time in system wars we argue about graphics. stop trying to twist things. just because this thread is about how good gears looks doesnt mean it has bad gameplay. this thread is about graphics not who has better gameplay. i was just adding that unchardeted has good gameplay sicne you said all cows have is just this games good looks

i prefer SMG over any game on ps3

well i dont know mind ive been playing uncharted lately and it is better than gears in some areas and vice versa...

one thing is for sure its with out a doubt the best looking game on the ps3 and beats a lot of 360 games easily..

Ummmm.... Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 are better than anything on the PS3. Are they graphically superior, no. But they are a heck of a lot more fun to play.

What makes the Wii games better...they are more fun to play. Nintendo knows what they are doing...whereas Sony is just going through the motions, so to speak.

CoD4 looks mega realistic compared to gears jaggies all over the screen fake aestethics that look mega fake an disgustingly unapealing while CoD4 has no jaggiez much more humanly realistic animations an textures/weapons a looks much more like real life then gears ever did

No one game last forever I know this but it's killing every ps3 game out there so far and that good enough for me.
