i hype ratchet AA because thats what i think it will get on GS. mgs AAA, haze AA unchart AAA. so i didnt hype uncharted AA. but whatever your crystal ball tells you. if all these games get B, its not the end of the world for anything.

I didn't hype Zak and Wiki, but I think a lot of people were surprised. It sure didn't look like an 8.5 from what I saw, but sometiems we get stuff wrong. The only reason I see Brawl not being hyped AAA is because online hasn't been confirmed (?) and its predecessors were never AAA. Lost Odyssey doesn't seem to bring any new concepts, so it was figured it won't score that well. PGR has never had a AAA title, so it was smart to keep it at AA.

Now, some cows have been hailing Uncharted AAA and now they play it safe. What gives? I understand Ratchet being hyped AA, seeing as it has never had a AAA title.

I am not a cow but reasonable expectations arent something to call cows out for.

There may be 1 or 2 games a year, is some years 0 games, that I would be willing to hype as AAA for any system.... ps3 360 wii pc... any system.

It's very simple: a game is hyped over a period of time. If over that period of time it becomes obvious that a certain group is hyping a particular game to be a hit, it is irritating to find that in the official hype thread they then go against those months of constant hype and say "no... we only thought it'd be AA."

You know it's true. You dont have uncharted in your sig because you think it'll score a happy little 8.0 - you think it'll be awesome. And so do many more. The sheep think SSBB will be incredible; they're just too scared to admit it.

the smart thing to do would be for lemmings, cows, sheep, and hermits to hype all their games -A. That way, no games flop, and nearly every game becomes a gem.
