Sorry Cows the game is not that great. I recently got a chance to play the game for a while and came away unimpressed. I don't see what all the hoopla is about. The game did look great but definately nothing made me say wow. COD 4, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, and some other games are equal or superior. And the 3 minute installing every time we checked out a different board..weaksauce. Installing ...installing.. And what do they have stock in cigerate company..that is disturbing. Is it me or are they missing an option to invert the axis for shooting..what is that..i need to invert the shooting. also I couldn't throw a grenade and shoot ..i had to switch in the menu to throw a grenade. I don't know if that is possible but if its not that is weak. I came away very unimpressed. pilotc

certainly entitled to your opinion. i think its an awesome game, and i'm not even that big of a metal gear fan.

mgs isnt everyonees cup of tea and thats def the case here. you didnt like the game big deal! go cry elsewhere cos most ppl who have actually played through the other mgs games and played this one PROPERLY will know that it is nothing short of an amazing experience

He's not alone. I agree with him. I walked away very unimpressed. I may have a different opinion of the game if I can get myself to play it again and finish it. Right now, I have very little desire to play it again. There are way too many other games that offer more entertainment value, and I include on that list games that I've already finished.

BTW : Forget what Cows say, the REAL Hype that bothers you is the MEDIA and CRITICS. You know why, places give the game AAA to AAAA? Because it's a great game, so take your weak comparison's and think about that.

You mean COWS and GAMESPOT.

GAMESPOT GAVE IT A "10", not cows. GAMESPOT is the main reason it's considered GREAT QUALITY.

How would you know if it's weak, you haven't even finished it.

BTW : You seem to be one of those posters that's LOOKING TO HATE on a game. For instance, when GeoW came out, a few Cows, Hermits, and Sheep said they "Played it" and thought it was lame. You are now doing the same thing.

It's funny how people think Cows are the only ones who praise the quality of the game.

Chicken sandwiches suck. And Splinter Cell is more fun that MGS...

I wanted to jump into the game and have fun but came away unimpressed. I don't try a game thinking I won't like it because I am playing PS3. I have had fun playing other games..this one didn't. COD 4 on PS3 craps on it IMO. A game that gets a 10 should immediately be enjoyable. When I jump into Gears its good immediately. when I show someone gears they enjoy it right away and are like ''wow that looks awsome"..pilotc

I've never played any MGS before but I can say that MGS4 was the best game I have ever played in my life! It was so epic with an amazing ending.

If you say this game is overrated and didn't deserve a 10, then Halo 3 and GTA IV deserve negative scores.

I can't judge it since I'm not a fan of the series.

The whole thing must be beyond me because the bald monkey and **** stained pants poop humor just was not doing anything for me.

I'm glad there is stuff for the fans to enjoy though and the quality of the game was obvious even though it's not my kind of thing.

No I didn't have hate for it before I went into it. I wanted to have some fun. Secondly I was expecting a shooter because the guy is a elite military super dude with a gun..it seemed like I should expect some cool shooting. And you are correct that I am new to MGS and wanted to see what all the hoopla was about..
