Cows, give me one reason why the PS3 will win the System War.

Come on, I'm waiting. So far, I haven't seen a single reason that has three things:

Common Sense.

A Non-Fanboyish Attitude.

Something that proves that the Wii can be beaten.

It's clear to me that Cows are confusing months with years now, so I'll be playing the "Just wait..." game, like so many of you Cows demand that we all play. You give an abundance of reasons why the PS3 is sooooo much better than the 360 (most of which have the words "Blu-Ray", "MGS4", or "Format War" in them), but most of them are idiotic or don't really prove how the Wii (sometimes even the 360) can be beaten. And while I'm waiting, here's a list of common reasons that I don't want to see:

1) MGS4 will sell so many PS3's that it will beat teh Wii, even though the Wii has sold 20,000,000+ units!

2) Sony will keep dropping teh price, so everybody will love it!

3) It narrowly beat the 360 and nearly beat the Wii in a month, so it will do the same in the next 3-4 years!

4) Blu-Ray is the winnarz of the "Format War", so the PS3 will now win "The System War"!

5) Any other exclusive title will make the PS3's sales magically double!

6) The 120 million PS2 users will switch to the PS3 (even if they had the chance to for the last year and three months)!

...Any other reason along the lines of these six fail. Now come on, convince me, Cows (If you can).

cows seem to think bluray and mgs are gonna make ps3 win.

1. PS3 is becoming cheaper by the second

2. 08 lineup appels to hardcore fans and casuals

3. PSN continually is getting better with additions like HOME

4. Blu ray is a big selling point as we continue toward HD era

5. Negative press on 360 makes PS3 look even better

now i'm not saing PS3 will win the console wars but it does have it's shot starting with 08

That is really just sig-worthy. When you call the top-selling console of this generation a "children's toy", you automatically fail. Perhaps Cows need to stop posting pictures of Hermione all over their blog and realize that Microsoft isn't the only contender here.

Blu Ray's Victory certainly helps but it does not assures victory, The Price drops and the continuous releases of more appealing skus plus not just one title but a combination of many upcoming tiles( which is called a line up >_>) can make the Ps3 win ¿WHAT OTHER REASONS COULD THERE BE?.

Those very same reasons got it out of the crypt To Begin the slaughter.

anyway, back to reality. funny how the Wii was in direct competition with the ps3 and 360 before it came out. now that is out and is easily beating the ps3 and 360 in sales, all of a sudden its not in direct competition?

You haven't played Brawl. You don't know what control scheme works well. I consider it my most anticipated game of 2008, and I'll be using the Wii Remote on its side, and with the Nunchuck. Both are said to work just as well.

Perhaps 2007's GOTY wasn't enough to convince you that the Wii is capable of superb games that outclass even the best PS3, 360, and PC titles. What you are doing here is looking at the very worst games for the Wii and automatically assuming they are standard Wii games.

Also, you, like many of your kind, are referring to the pricing of the Wii being a key part of its sales. But let's go back to what you called the Wii earlier: A child's toy. I'm pretty damn sure that no sensible parent would buy their young child a $250 toy. Nintendo did realize that pricing would be an advantageous part of the console war, but they've already added more reasons to buy a Wii then simply because of the price.

And, yes, you are ignorant once you start labeling the Wii in a different class than the PS3 and 360.
