yeah, kinda wierd to have a PS3 with no background of the MGS series...
which one is best to start with before MGS4, the supposedly huge AAA game thats coming later. akatsuki0wn3d
First of all. PS brand does not have a mascot. So to say you have to know MGS series to have one is totally wrong. This is not Halo...There are other plenty of games of many kinds of genre on the PS brand. If you find that the games are not to your liking, I suggest a Wii or a Xbox360.
Yeah definetly play them in order cuz in MGS4 they will probably throw in some interesting plot twists that make references to previous games and it's always good to know what's goin on.

Really, you like the second one most? It wasnt bad, the third is the best. I like it so much, i dont think MGS4 will surpass it storywise. MGS3 was really genious.
