dead or alive4> tekken series :wink:lawlessxNah. DOA4 was good because it had online. The fighting mechanics, fighting styles, and button controls are not comporable to tekken series. If tekken has online, it will be around the 9.2-9.6 range scoring, and will sell millions.

i used to be a huge tekken fan back on the ps1,but once i started playing dead or alive 3 on the xbox..i never went back to tekken. i found DOA's fast paced fighting was more enjoyable then tekken's fighting style.

Wait, tekken series is one of the fastest fighting games of all time. Play dark ressurection, it is all about offensive. DOA, is more about countering, which in my opinion, makes the game a little bad. And if you want to play a game that is all about offensive, play one of the old school capcom fighting games.[QUOTE="lawlessx"]Nah. DOA4 was good because it had online. And if you want to play a game that is all about offensive, play one of the old school capcom fighting games.tekken being mostly about offensive combat and little to no defence is what turns me off. in dead or alive 4, if you were being attacking but combos..you chould counter one of the attacks if you knew where the hit was coming from and if it was a punch of a kick..in tekken if you were getting combo by someone..the most you could do is block and hope you dont die..thats what i did alteast
Tekken is the best fighting series of all time. It is halo to fps, as tekken 6 is to fighters. It is unrivaled in sales and ratings.Such as...?

If you've actually played Killzone1, you would realize why 2 is being hyped. Killzone1's rating was slammed for graphical flaws (many of which were in a review edition, but were fixed for final game) and being rushed. The visuals and gameplay elements showed massive potential from the developers if they had more time and better hardware, which they do with Killzone2. It's obviously stupid to hype Killzone2 as a guarunteed good game, but there's no reason to disregard it's potential. Once we see gameplay footage at E3, we'll see if it's looking any good or not.Lazy_Boy88
I did play Killozone 1 and no, i dont understand- the gameplay itself is flawed. The tech stuff made it worse.
I do agree with the op though, Tekken is the best fighting franchise and deserves massive hypeÂ

Because it had so much room for improvement and Guerilla looks like they're getting better, seeing as Killzone 2 got 8.6 the dev team working on Killzone 3 is like 3x bigger and better than the original dev team.Â
