Tim Sweeney and John Carmack, the two most influential graphics programmers of all time, have both said that the PS3 is weaker than the Xbox 360.

Now Cows on this forum are in denial and say "Bu bu Killzone 2 and Uncharted look better than Xbox 360 exclusives."

First of all, this statement is NOT true. Its just an opinion, and the only way you can determine which game looks better would be to count polygons or determine the texture resolution.

Secondly, John Carmack and Tim Sweeney know much more about graphics than Guerilla Games and Naughty Dog. If they say that the Xbox 360 is more powerful, then it is true. These guys are technical geniuses and have been programming graphics since before most of the posters on this forum were born.

The Xbox 360 is more powerful than the PS3 according to the two greatest graphics programmers ever.

But it really annoys me when people dismiss Carmack or Sweeney by claiming X title sucks.

They arent game designers, they are game programmers. Its not their job to make the gampley mechanics, just the engine. There isnt a single engine they've made thats sucked for their time.

And Kojima cant do **** for programming. He's not responsible for anything related to the game's graphics.

If you want to prove that something looks better, you will need to look at the technical specifications of the game.

The way I see it the ps3 is more powerfull, the games suggest it, plus people who know what they are talking about say so. The problem is that the ps3 uses very new technologies, so its only the first and second party devs that really get the best out of the console.

Though like your post its all opinion, though I think that the ps3 is much more advanced, and more powerful, and will prduce the best looking games, and I say that with complete confidence.
